This is another rather intense monthly journey for you, Cancer. You are very invested in being out in the world in some startling new ways, a continuation and a culmination of a movement within you that has been ongoing for many weeks. This month, also, you could reencounter inner wounding, the residue of prior undigested trauma, as part of your discoveries, and recognize that this could be holding you back from being all that you can be. Your internal realms are there for you to better comprehend and feel into. Your ongoing transformation proceeds apace, and involves the way that you connect with important others in your life. This is long-term and yet also very immediate, in the sense that everything you learn about partnership informs you of yourself, and about this hidden inner world operating just below the level of consciousness that is such a significant part of your psychological makeup.

Financial and professional growth are central areas of focus for you as February opens up. In late January – on the 27th – a New Moon landed in the area of your chart connected to shared resources. As a result, you’re likely to begin February continuing the trajectory of making new investments or decisions about your long term financial growth. You might have an opportunity to negotiate more attractive splits if you receive royalties or commission checks. Or, this may apply to your benefits package at work. If you’re married it’s possible that this opportunity will be more about your spouse’s income but either way, you’re sure to benefit.

What makes your career such a standout this month has to do with two other key planets, Mars and Venus. On January 28 Mars reached the top of your chart and will remain here until March 9. This is essentially a once-in-two-year event that offers a dynamic boost in terms of your motivation to pursue what you really want professionally. If you have been thinking about starting a new business this is the most ideal time to act. In fact, with that recent New Moon, it should be easy for you to attract an appropriate investor if you’re seeking capital. This will also be a wonderful time to apply for a promotion. On February 3 Venus will join your career sector adding extraordinary grace to your entrepreneurial spirit. Any risks you take professionally will likely be well received thanks to the ability you’ll have to charm your boss or any other VIP.

There are a stretch of days however, where you may want to hold back from unleashing your overwhelming presence. On February 22 Mars will square Pluto, now in your partnership sector. A power struggle with a business partner, client or even your spouse might quickly escalate. Then, on February 26 Mars and Uranus will collide at the top of your chart. You might make an impulsive career move without thinking it through. Lay low at month’s end and avoid manipulation, control or intimidation so that March doesn’t become all about damage control.

Happily, for the most part this month promises wonderful growth. A dazzling Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on February 10 will likely bring fulfillment in terms of your earning power as well as the validation of your personal talents. You know exactly what you’re worth and it appears that others are in agreement. The value you’re bringing to the table will be appreciated and the end result should be a fatter paycheck.

In other news, on February 26 a New Moon Solar Eclipse will fall in the area of your chart connected to higher education and mind expansion. This will be an ideal time to learn more about a new culture, religion, philosophy or other subject you’ve always wanted to study. A spiritual quest will be especially gratifying now.
