You have gleaned much inner understanding over the past several weeks of the Venus Retrograde, now fading away but leaving that important residue to apply to outer world attitudes and choices. Trickster Uranus, prominent now and located in your sign, is greatly highlighted, so that new pathways of imaginative intersection come available to you this month, provided you can stay open to them. In the timing of the February 16th Leo Full Moon, there is a close configuration of Venus, your ruler, with Mars, conveying greater life significance to partners as well as a more profound connection with your own inner world. These factors will prove significant for your pathway forward. You are also intent on promoting in any way that you can the revolutionary concept that what you do as your work in the world must match your deepest innermost values or it does not fully succeed.

The New Moon in Aquarius at the beginning of the month takes place in your vocational sector and signals the beginning of a new cycle related to your career. The New Moon is conjunct limiting Saturn in Aquarius, while forming a square to trickster and innovative Uranus in Taurus, highlighting an ongoing tension between your personal desires or yen for change versus some degree of sacrifice needed to follow your path. On the up side, this ongoing tension has been giving you the discipline you need to reach your goals and you are making tremendous progress. This month is all about the accumulated knowledge you have acquired and how you are applying what you know to further yourself in the world. The Saturnian influence permeating this time may feel somewhat heavy but any good astrologer will tell you that Saturn can bring lasting results with the proper amount of discipline. This New Moon configuration could emphasize over this entire month the resolve you need to put your head down and get to work. You might not be able to get instant gratification or quick results but your intentions for this time could grow into a solid legacy with the proper amount of dedication. On the other hand, Uranus in Taurus is also strongly configured, and brings a tremendous pressure for self-actualization and progress through taking chances. There are no road maps and no sign post for where you want to go, which just means you have to trust your intuition and create your own path as you move along.
If you’ve been oscillating back and forth between various perspectives since the beginning of the year, Mercury stationing direct in Capricorn on February 3rd could finally help you begin to gain traction and make sense of something as Mercury straightens out in the weeks ahead. When Mars in Capricorn sextiles Jupiter in Pisces from the 3rd to the 5th, you might find that exchanging ideas with people in your field of expertise could be stimulating. You may have more allies than you think that can open doors for you but you’ll first have to knock on those doors.
The First Quarter Moon in your sign on the 8th brings a certain amount of tension between your current professional challenges and your overall goals. This second week of February is very dynamic and your perspective on certain matters could be changing, in turn requiring that you adjust your stance. Mars in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus from the 7th to the 9th could bring some restlessness, highlighting your needs for exploration at this time. Your desire to think outside of the box and try new things could feel more pressing and it’s a good time to expand your mental horizon. Mercury conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn on the 10th and the 11th and this could allow you to delve deeper into mystical or philosophical studies so that you may gain an interesting perspective from doing so.
Mercury re-enters Aquarius on the 14th, retracing the same territory it has already covered twice since the beginning of the year due to its retrograde motion. Mercury’s recent retrograde may have brought up doubts regarding what you know and your ability to bring a project or concept to fruition. If you’ve faced roadblocks more recently, you may find that over the following weeks it finally gets easier to move ahead.
On the 14th, also, Mars conjuncts Venus quite closely, lasting to beyond the end of the month. Mars with Venus, your ruler, implies an extra bounce to your steps over the last half of February, and brings service to others and partnership realities into your thought forms.
The Full Moon culminates in the sign of Leo on the 16th, illuminating your home life and bringing attention to your psychological roots. You are likely to be more focused on private matters so that your security needs could feel more important at this time. Your family could also come up in some way, including issues surrounding family of origin, or you may have to divide your time between your professional responsibilities and the demands of a family member. From now until the end of February, with your ruler, Venus, engaged with the ruler of your partnership sector, there are compromises to be tried and a variety of interesting evolving future plans to explore. It’s an excellent time to resolve ongoing tension around your need for safety and your need for progress and accept that some decisions will be required to make something work.
The Sun enters Pisces on the 18th signaling a more introspective and meditative time of the year, the last thirty days of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Jupiter in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus from the 16th to the 18th could help you make new and stimulating contacts with like-minded people. You might be more interested in connecting with communities who are working towards progressive ideas. This is an excellent time to reach out to others who can support your work; you might be pleasantly surprised by the new possibilities that emerge when you team up with others.
The last full week of February brings enthusiasm for collective progress and dreams of a better world. Mars and Venus in Capricorn, still in close conjunction, come into a harmonious sextile with Neptune in Pisces allowing you to link your philosophies with collective ideals. You may be looking for more coherence through mystical pursuits or like-minded groups of people and it’s an excellent time to explore spirituality or philosophies that can inspire you towards greater understanding of your place in this mysterious universe.
