This is a rather intriguing month for you Sagittarius, one in which you are pulled to the inside. You are taking a pause from outer world involvement partly due to the requirement of getting a better handle on the necessary structure of your life and what wants to be bolstered as you climb the sides of a steep learning curve that is largely internal, and that has hidden painful elements to face and to traverse. While staying as grounded as you can, and in the midst of being held back, you are nevertheless breaking out in ways that liberate your soul. You are drawn to realms of philosophical speculation while also finding within yourself the determination to ride out the storm and persevere with that destiny that you came into this lifetime to fulfill.
As the month begins, you are reveling in the freedom of expression that has been in some ways quite natural for you lately, and which has recently reached epic proportions in terms of finding you own unique voice. Even more recently, since the timing of the Aquarius New Moon from the last ten days of January, this has given you a mandate to communicate to others around you a truly individual viewpoint. This is especially so when you simultaneously feel that you can allow yourself the permission to be wholly and completely yourself, apart from the effects of early conditioning or consensus opinion that has the unwanted effect of homogenizing all viewpoints into socially approved standards of thought and belief.
You have also recently been focalized in your own sense of identity, as symbolized by the late December entrance of Saturn in your sign, in a way that is antithetical to this goal of free-thinking, and that instead has you participating in a crushing weight of responsibility to the very societal mores that you would like to be free of. Saturn has something of a bad rap for his emphasis on limitation and caution, although of course it is often necessary to proceed with care as you navigate difficult situations, and everyone is glad when adolescents assume a modicum of responsibility as they mature. This current presence of Saturn in your life is therefore a good thing, at least in measured doses and with a balance of easing in and out of its requirements and demands. You are naturally Jupiterian, or a bit loose with towing the line, preferring to take the rules of the road as advisory rather than as absolutes. Jupiter is greatly emphasized now, in your solar sector of higher mind, giving you a spiritual basis for taking your own philosophical stance independent of the going style or conformance to standards; the trick is to know when to allow your viewpoint to be shackled to that of others, and when it is appropriate to remove the leash from around your neck.
The outer planets are also greatly emphasized in your current chart, and therefore contributing their symbolism to your psychic weather, as you go over the rapids of difficult-to-handle whitewater changes in your frail craft. Uranus in your sector of creative self-expression speaks to the freedom of viewpoint that you now for the most part enjoy, and even articulate, subject to the balance of holding back as discussed in the preceding paragraph. You are letting your freak flag fly to the extent that you are able, being careful at the same time not to alienate your traveling companions. With the transformative energies of Pluto also very present in these several opening months of the 215 year, and located in your second solar sector of resources and finance, you have learned to be creative in the application of your energies to extract maximum benefit from what you have on hand. There is a deeper lesson here that applies as well, that you have infinite resources of Spirit available to you when you remember to align yourself with them, in accord with the whispered truth of your own internal guidance system that always tells you what you most need to know.
Then, too, you have the enormously heightened presence this month of numinous Neptune, vertical dimension of otherworldly awareness, located in the sector of your psychological roots, also referencing home and family. This is a sometimes graceful, sometimes maddening influence that is equally as powerful as Pluto and as transformative in its own way, dissolving those withholds that keep you back from experiencing your truest essence. This is less of a problem the more you learn to balance, as with the cautious limitation of Saturn, weaving Spirit in and out with life in the horizontal plane.
