This month represents an exciting foray into your own unconscious process, Pisces, or it could. The Libra New Moon of October 6th takes place in your sector of close relationship and personal evolution, with implications for delving deep down into the wild and unknown territory of your own psyche. With Mercury also retrograding though this same sector, there is a hugely introspective and intuitional element that is added. Over the course of a rollercoaster of a monthly cycle, you ae rethinking many areas of your life, including your future plans and your societal commitment. Issues of self and other could also come to the fore in some form or fashion. There are strange twists of deductive logic, learning curve, and communication also implied, keys that allow you to better understand yourself and your goals from this deeper perspective. As you move forward, your ongoing task would seem to be that you continue to revisit your most profound bottom-line values with an eye to greater alignment with these, or at the very least beginning to comprehend what that idea would imply.

Mercury is retrograde in Libra and squares Pluto in Capricorn at the very beginning of the month, corresponding to your societal connections, friendships, and future goals. You may be in the midst of a complicated scenario without knowing who or what to believe. The Sun, Mars, and Mercury in Libra are lighting up the part of your chart that relates to intimacy and the benefits you get from partnering up with others. You could feel a divide between a long-standing community and a partner or it may be that you have to let go of a social scene or a friendship that has outlived its purpose. This year has been transformational for everyone and with your changing circumstances, you get to see who is truly here for you versus who was just here for a free ride. Venus in Scorpio also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at the beginning of October, and this aspect could represent new learning opportunities or a refreshing perspective that helps you think outside the box.
Learning to relate in new ways has been a big theme for you recently, and the New Moon in Libra on October 6th brings a breath of fresh air for intimate partnerships and close collaborations. The New Moon is joined by Mars and opposes Chiron in Aries which may bring up worries around financial resources or joint ventures. Additionally, Pluto is emphasized and this could therefore imply changes in friendships and group activities that you favor or your plans. Chiron in Aries opposing this New Moon could also be your invitation to accept the help that is offered to you at this time without trying at all costs to remain independent. On the other hand, if someone has been demanding too much of your energy recently, it might be time to assert better boundaries. Your need for other people doesn’t have to override your need for independence and vice versa. Striking the perfect balance with others may be a work in progress over the following weeks but you are willing to show up for the work.
Venus enters Sagittarius on the 7th where it will emphasize your career aspirations in the following weeks. This is an opportunity to get in tune with your professional desires and to pay attention to where they are leading you. When you do what you love, the whole world conspires to bring you more of what you want.
The second weekend of October contains a host of illuminating aspects starting with Mercury Retrograde conjunct the Sun in Libra which is usually associated with an important moment of clarity. Pay attention to what transpires at this time especially in your close partnerships. Venus conjunct the South Node in Sagittarius and Saturn turns direct in Aquarius on the 10th may be your invitation to surrender and let go of old structures that are no longer supporting you. You may be forced to face some of your fears only to realize they do not even have a hold on you anymore.
Things should feel relatively smooth until the days leading up to the 17th when the Sun in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn. This may push some hidden tension to the surface.
On the 18th, Jupiter stations direct in Aquarius, and Mercury following suit the same day in Libra, ending the major phase of the Mercury Retrograde period, could continue to bring momentum and intensity in the days leading to the Full Moon on the 20th.
The October 20th, Aries Full Moon is another extremely dynamic lunation, again highlighting Pluto. The Sun and Moon make a T-square to Pluto, strongly emphasized as well by the ongoing opposition of new planets Eris and Haumea, implying that your evolution in the way that you connect to the society that surrounds you is far from over. If you’ve been compromising too much in your partnerships, this Full Moon could also bring out your independent streak. What is important to you and the values you hold dear to your heart may also be highlighted in some ways. With Mars in Libra squaring Pluto in Capricorn you could be called to take a stand on an important social issue. This could be a time of polarized tension so that peace might be elusive for the following two weeks of this current lunation cycle.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 22nd, which could bring a renewed sense of faith and perspective to you in the weeks that follow. You may be able to take a glance at the bigger picture and start mapping out the next leg of your evolutionary journey. Venus in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces on the 26th brings further inspiration. You do not have a great deal of objectivity right now, but this is a playful moment in the month that could be spent doing something that you love.
Venus sextile Jupiter in Aquarius on the 28th and the 29th could bring much of the same so that it might be best to spend the last few days of the month doing something creative. Inspiration could be high and you might not have the energy to focus on serious matters. From the 29th to the 30th, the Sun in Scorpio square to Saturn in Aquarius could have a sobering influence. You may have to strike a balance between fantasy and reality at the end of the month, although do not let these heavier influences kill your dreams entirely.
