This is another month of finding your way forward, Pisces, into what is essentially unknown, therefore a gamble. It is however what you must take up if you are to fully live your life. This requires both inspiration, and practical pulling back from idealization, and the discernment to know the difference. There is plenty of both in an essentially optimistic, and as well transformative time, when you are also looking within yourself for the answers. Partnership with others, which can be idealization, is the subject of much of your soul-searching through the first half of the month, with a tug-of-war within your heart for what makes the most sense. After the mid-month Libra New Moon, when Mercury is also retrograde in your sector of higher mind, there begins a period of even greater questioning of everything that you are up to, relationship included. You are attempting to forge a more productive way forward, one that takes into better account the whole picture of who and what you really are.

The Full Moon in Aries on October 1st could bring realizations to you, especially regarding your financial situation. You may have been forced recently to rethink how you generate a revenue, and what is needed for you to gain more independence. The Full Moon could clarify some of the recent apprehensions you have felt in connection with your budget and what is currently possible. You may be feeling the need to take some risks to forge ahead while simultaneously needing to think carefully before launching yourself in a new adventure. Everyone has to contend with the stop-and-go energy permeating this Fall. For Pisces a lot of this alternating current plays out in connection with your participation within a community versus your need for more independence. You may be moving back and forth between more autonomy versus more collaborations without being able to choose the mode that works best for what you are trying to achieve.
Venus enters Virgo on October 2nd and brings even more attention to your relationships for the rest of the month. Venus in Virgo emphasizes the small daily sacrifices you must make to ensure that your partnerships are functional. The sign of Virgo is service oriented, and while Venus transit here it highlights the tangible ways in which you can demonstrate your love. It could also bring more support from the people you care about. A powerful reset occurred in your relationships in September around the New Moon in Virgo when intentions got clarified regarding your exchanges with others. You may have felt a renewed sense of lucidity in connection with what you are looking for in a partner, and what works versus what isn’t working anymore. Venus in Virgo this month could bring refined expressions of your intentions allowing you to connect more deeply with your genuine desires. However there could also be a tendency to settle for pragmatism over passions while Venus is in Virgo since Aphrodite here is more concerned with practicalities.
Tension is indicated around the Last Quarter Moon in Cancer on October 9th, when Mars retrograde also precisely squares Pluto in Capricorn. You may expect people to want to assert themselves more strongly or power struggle to erupt. Venus in Virgo trine Uranus in Taurus on the 10th can bring unexpected surprises in partnerships, or the desire to break free from something restrictive. You may have to collaborate with others while treading lightly. There could be a sense of excitement building up with the Sun in Libra squaring Jupiter in Capricorn on the 11th but there could also be a tendency to exaggerate the potential of an idea or the inability to meet others halfway. Make sure you don’t compromise your integrity for the sake of keeping the peace in a dysfunctional scenario.
Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio on October 13th and will be moving retrograde until November 3rd mostly in your vision sector. The period of Mercury’s retrograde shadow, lasting until November 19th, could display some of the same typical symptoms of missed connections and mechanical breakdowns. Your long-term plans will get a chance to get refined during this period which more extensively is connected to your financial situation. Your desire for new experiences is closely linked to your budget as if the two are interwoven. You get a chance to work the details of these two areas of your life for the rest of October, while Mercury is retrograde, to ensure you know exactly where you are heading in these matters.
The New Moon in Libra on October 16th signals a new cycle of growth in connection with intimate partnerships, and more extensively how you benefit (or not) from your alliances. This is a pressurized time filled with polarizing tension and for you a lot of pressure is coming from the people around you. You may feel a desire to break free from stifling circumstances while oscillating between freedom and compromise. This has been a big theme, and the New Moon is a good time to come to grips with the reality of your situation while envisioning new forms that are trying to emerge or rethink the existing ones.
The Sun’s ingress into the sign of Scorpio on October 22nd will start to shift your attention on to the bigger experiences you want for yourself. Mercury Retrograde meets the Sun in Scorpio on October 25th which may bring a moment of clarity in connection with your core beliefs, and your philosophical outlook. A process of transformation is at work and you may feel your attitude and your preconceived ideas about the world changing deeply at this time. With Mars retrograde in Aries you have been working hard on your sense of self-worth. Scorpio season can bring a deeper engagement with life philosophies that supports your evolution out of self-defeating behaviors.
The Full Moon in Taurus on October 31st brings opportunities to anchor your ideas and philosophies of life into a more concrete and tangible expression. A long process of maturation is coming to a close, and you are ready to start integrating your new perspectives into your daily experience. There could be unexpected consequences now as well, because trickster Uranus is conjuncted by the Full Moon. Who you are, what you do, and what you want out of life is emerging in ways you hadn’t even thought of until now.
