You are in the midst of an inner growth spurt, Pisces, that prepares the way for practical real-world action. You are all about the learning right now. This is especially so in the first half of April, riding out the wave from the powerful mid-March New Moon in your sign. If your resources seem stymied, including financial ones, this can become the fulcrum for deeper exploration. The Mercury Retrograde period of time is good for introspection, and you benefit from giving free rein to your investigations, the seeds of future power. You might encounter trauma complexes from below the surface, and, if so, the prescription is to not shy away, but rather to welcome these hidden places inside you into the light of conscious understanding. After the April 15th New Moon, you experience a shift. While still working things out, you find your goals are shifting and coiling like a spring, ready to launch you into renewed activity come May.

The month begins as Mars and Saturn conjoin in your eleventh house of friends, groups, allies, benefactors, and wishes or hopes for the future, exact on April 2nd. The eleventh house was traditionally called the house of “good spirit,” and it was the place where the planet Jupiter was said to rejoice. As a Pisces, your ruling planet was traditionally Jupiter, the planet of hope, faith, good fortune, and wisdom. For you to commit and work hard for anything in life, you must believe in what you’re doing. The word “belief,” in fact, means to give one’s heart and affection to something. Mars and Saturn in your eleventh suggest that you are looking for the right vision, group, or allies to work with, or that you are seeking a more concrete plan or vision for your future. Just remember that if you’re not emotionally on board, if this vision or group of people doesn’t have your heart, then the hard work required will feel exhausting rather than fulfilling.

Between April 7th and the 11th Venus in Taurus in your third house of communication, learning, and siblings, will be making trines to Mars and Saturn in your eleventh house of friends, groups and hopes for the future. Your communication with friends or siblings is highlighted right now. Venus in your third house is the bearer of good news, unique opportunities, and general auspiciousness. You may have something beautiful or artistic to share with others right now, or you may find that you are able to communicate more effectively your needs and feelings to others, which may open new doors or exciting new connections for you. On the other hand, during this time Venus will also travel between the rays of Saturn and Mars, which means you may have to contend with some sticky situations while negotiating, communicating, or sharing something with others. Be patient, the synthesis is there, but it might require a little give and take.

Late in the evening of April 10th and into April 11th the Sun in Aries in the second house of finances, resources, and possessions, will make a square to Pluto in Capricorn in your eleventh house. Again, we are seeing a similar emphasis on groups, allies, friends, and your plans during this transit, but this transit also emphasizes financial goals, obligations, expenditures, investments, or the issues of how much time or energy you want to devote to something. This is an enlightening or clarifying moment for you but be careful to give yourself plenty of time and space before making rushed or impulsive choices.

April 15th to 18th the Sun in Aries will conjoin with the rebellious and unpredictable Uranus in Aries in your second house of finances, resources, and possessions, exact just days after a New Moon in Aries on April 15th.Expect a little shakeup in your finances around this time. The Sun and Uranus can represent an exciting new investment, a new financial philosophy, a much-needed lesson around money. You might be thinking of branching out on your own or starting a new business, or potentially reallocating your money, time, or resources due to a new level of clarity or inspiration.

Between April 16th and 17th, Venus in Taurus in the third house of siblings, communication, and the mind is opposing Jupiter in the ninth house of religion, higher education, and long journeys. You might be exploring your beliefs right now, or possibly taking up the study of a new subject. This is also a wonderful time to deepen your existing interests or passions, perhaps taking your studies to the next level. You might also be exploring the topics of religion, faith, higher education, or belief with siblings or close friends, or you might be looking for authentic mentors, spiritual leaders, or religious authority.

Finally, on April 26th, Mars will conjoin with Pluto in your eleventh house. Again, the focus is on your goals or dreams for the future, your friendships, the groups you belong to or the people you are networking and associating with. Mars and Pluto conjoining represent a moment of intense catharsis and transformation, of willfulness, power, and commitment. Sometimes these planets represent opportunism or a toxic level of ambition. Just remember that your heart has to believe in what you’re doing, otherwise even the most strategically sound advantages in life will end in disappointment or disillusionment.
