Another focus this month is indicted by the recent New Moon from the Christmas weekend that invoked Jupiter, newly arrived in Aries, corresponding to your relationship sector. Your ruling planet Venus enters its fellow Air sign of Aquarius on the evening of the 2nd and forms a sextile to Jupiter in Aries on the 4th which may bring fluidity for romance or creative projects at the beginning of the month.
The Full Moon in Cancer lands on the 6th and could bring a culmination for career-related themes shining a light on your ambitions and your public life. The Sun in this Full Moon conjuncts Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn at the base of your chart, and could highlight a process of revision related to the ways you share your ideas. and others may be interested in what you have to say at this time. You may feel a greater divide than usual between your inner reality and the face you show to the world. Letting your passions speak for themselves at this time could bring you closer to your goals or dispel misunderstandings.
On the 9th and 10th, Venus in Aquarius, your ruler, comes into a supportive trine with Mars in Gemini just before Mars stations direct on the 12th, aligning passion and vision into a coherent whole. This is a nice aspect in January that could be easily missed; and yet Venus and Mars coming together should bring some kind of confirmation that you are heading in the right direction. Mercury is still moving retrograde in Capricorn and may continue to highlight responsibilities or logistical issues at home that are weighing you down.
Mercury turns to direct motion on the 18th and will fully recover from its retrograde cycle after the end of the month. By February therefore, you may be in a better headspace to deal with anything that is slowing you down.
The Sun conjoins Pluto in Capricorn before it enters Aquarius on the 20th which may bring an awareness of more profound changes occurring at this time whether these are internal or external.
The Aquarius New Moon in arrives on the 21st and signals the beginning of a new cycle in the part of your chart that relates to your self-expression, your creativity, and more extensively what brings you pleasure. This New Moon is again supported by Jupiter in Aries transiting in your partnership sector, just like the last one, implying that your relationships with others could continue to be a source of inspiration in the remainder of the month.
