An important cycle began in October with the recent Libra New Moon that emphasized your creativity, your self-expression, and any children you may have or be connected with. What you care about and what you are compelled by your enthusiasm to put out into the world is emphasized along with the activities and projects that bring you joy. Identity is a moving target for you right now and at times, quite suddenly. Your day-to-day situations and your workplace might take on new significance for you as well. Your worldview is steadily shifting in important new directions that have more to do with own deep principles and sense of life purpose. Pleasure can sometimes feel like a loaded concept as our relationship to it is often fraught with guilt in a society that tries to maximize everything that leads to productive outcomes. However, I suspect that you have been increasingly aware of the gap between a labor of love versus your sense of obligation to less enjoyable tasks and that you are beginning to envision more sustainable ways of being with a more inspiring sense of your daily vocational requirement and loving what you do.
Venus is still in Libra at the beginning of November forming a square with Jupiter in Cancer and an opposition to Chiron in Aries. It’s as if the path was laid for you to walk towards a dream but now that it is possible you are having a moment of hesitation. Perhaps you are doubting that the vision is real but rest assured that the indications are clear; progress is not only possible, it is imperative; although you may not fully grasp the extent of what this means until after the end of the year.
Mars entering Sagittarius on the 4th triggers an opposition with Uranus in Gemini hinting at potential negotiations required with a business or an intimate partner before you can see eye to eye. You might feel like branching out on your own entirely although the fruit may not be fully ripped to do so at this time.
On November 5th, the Full Moon lands in Taurus and may be your cue to take some time off to relax, unplug and start doing what you love. It is also an interesting timing to go into your depths for answers to some unknown questions that arise spontaneously within you. As Venus, which presides over this Full Moon, travels in the last degrees of Libra, and Mars is opposite Uranus in your sign, surprise revelations become almost dangerous as you plunge ahead without a safety net. Love, pleasure, ease, harmony, creativity, and the arts are emphasized so let yourself be entertained by yours and other’s imagination.
On the 6th, Venus enters Scorpio forming a tense aspect with Pluto in Aquarius just as Uranus retrogrades back the next day into Taurus or your sector of unconscious process. It may be a good time to address physical and mental stressors especially if these are coming from other people in your life. Focus on what can be changed and let go of the expectation to have everything solved instantly. The solutions will appear in due time.
On November 9th, Mercury turns retrograde in your opposite sign of Sagittarius, or your partnership sector. Perhaps your relationship agreements with someone will need to be revised in the coming weeks. It may be important at this time to read the fine print and go slow, trying to read all the nuances of what is going on. You have a natural tendency with Mercury stationing retrograde to ask more questions than there are easy answers This is especially if you are relying on others for approval or something more concrete. You could feel torn between your autonomy and your reliance on someone else at this time but the process taking place should be clarifying in the long run.
Mercury retrogrades back into the sign of Scorpio on November 18th bringing your daily habits into greater focus as a subject of your meditative inquiry which is one keyword for the retrograde of Mercury. This juncture can also be seen as tied to a growing wonderment of what you are – at base – all about, including your sense of hidden intuitive revelations that tell you true, almost in spite of the machinations of your conscious mind.
The New Moon in late Scorpio takes place in the evening of November 19th or perhaps early on the 20th depending on time zone. This is an important reset in the month for all things related to your health, routines and habits that you might be outgrowing, and also speaks to the influence of important partners on your intuitive next steps forward. You might want to abandon mere logic in the face of powerful messages from the cosmos which might be disguised as persons in your relationship web. With Saturn in Pisces and Mercury in Scorpio turning direct on the 27th and 29th respectively, the Mercury Retrograde effects will begin to wind down. Venus makes a grand trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces which can bring luck and smooth your way forward. You can expect a few surprises at the end of November and this could be about tying up loose ends before the holidays hit.
