Your metamorphosis of self-identity has been underway for many weeks now, Capricorn, and this month is more of the same. The placement of your ruler Saturn in your first solar sector is the symbolic astrological indication of this, and is now receiving even more of the action. You have an increasing sense of mission, applying to your evolving sense of self, and also to your contribution to the social setting that surrounds you. Communication with partners provides clues to future development, your core beliefs, and family ties. All this comes to a head in the timing of the Sagittarius Full Moon of the 17th. Your faith in a spiritual basis for what is going on within you is at an all-time high, while important questions continue to percolate through you. What do you need to let go of' Are you able to surrender to your process' And, finally, Are you able to make the leap of going willingly to what is now looming as your obvious destiny'

This month features two major transits, both of which are in some ways preparing you for the lunar eclipse taking place in your home sign next month. The first is an intense and slow-moving opposition from Mars in Cancer in your seventh house of relationships to your ruling planet, Saturn, conjunct Pluto, in your home sign and first house of Capricorn. And the second is a series of T-squares from planets moving through Gemini in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, and Jupiter in Sagittarius in your twelfth house of dissolution and surrender, to Neptune in Pisces in your third house of communication and the mind.
The big news is of course the opposition from Mars in Cancer in your seventh house to Saturn and Pluto in your first house, which is taking place between June 13th and June 21st. These transits are placing an incredibly strong emphasis on your relationships right now, perhaps especially an emotionally volatile dynamic that has been unfolding in the past year which is now reaching a fever pitch. Some of these changes or confrontations are likely for the better, but you should also be careful that you are not allowing yourself to be emotionally bullied, or that you are not stonewalling those you care about when you should be listening and honoring their emotional needs. Sometimes the only way to get through your stoic exterior is to fuss persistently enough over a long enough time until you are finally forced into a more vulnerable and honest emotional exchange. The thing to remember here is that things don’t need to reach a boiling point before positive compromises can be made. Remember, this transit is also foreshadowing a deeper series of changes happening across the same house axis (self and other/relationships) over the course of the next year still, with a very powerful lunar eclipse coming through your home sign next month.
Additionally to the oppositions from Mars are the series of T-squares happening between planets in Gemini in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, Jupiter in Sagittarius in your twelfth house of dissolution and self-undoing, to Neptune in Pisces in your third house of communication and the mind. If you work in a healing or helping profession, you may find that you are developing or honing your skills further this month, or that you are being called on to listen very deeply to those who are suffering or that you are being asked to speak healing words to others, or to express an artistic or imaginative set of ideas in a public forum of some kind. On the other hand, coupled with the Mars oppositions, these T-squares may be indicating that you are working toward a deeper level of emotional and intellectual honesty in your relationships, or that you are repairing or mending your faith, or perhaps calling into question beliefs or values that are no longer serving you. Whatever the case might be, the ability to find mental and emotional healing this month, to find new ways of communicating your truth and of listening to the needs of others is pronounced.
Finally, with the Sun in Cancer in your seventh house of relationships making a square to Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in Aries in your fourth house of home and family on June 26th and 27th, the month closes with a moment of the recognition of inner wounding and the opportunity for deeper emotional healing in both your relationships and on the home front. This healing moment may even reach deep into the ancient or ancestral past somehow, so be sure you pay attention to the deeper echoes of the lessons you are learning this month.
