This is another exciting and challenging month for you, Capricorn, with emphasis on your evolving identity, as indicated by your ruling planet, Saturn, emphasized and prominently placed in your first house. You are in the midst of a long transformational period when you are finding out more about who you are at the most fundamental level. This month, that search is accompanied by Mercury in retrograde, encouraging you to further explore your depths. Partners and the concept of partnership are vitally important to you now, with the introspective tendencies of the Mercury Retrograde period aiding and abetting this questioning time, as you seek to find within yourself the secret opening to better ways for handling relationship with intimate others. Any inner wounding that you possess is likely to come up for you now, in one form or another, and if so, the recommendation is to quietly and optimistically witness whatever seems to be going on. The path that takes you into healing begins with the simplest of steps.

The month gets started almost right away on July 2nd with a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer in your seventh house of relationships. In the weeks and months to come you will likely experience a very deep transformation within your most intimate personal relationships. Seasonal change signs, like Cancer, imply turning points. Similarly, solar eclipses represent powerful new beginnings. Put these symbols together and you have the promise of both powerful turning points and new beginnings happening in your relationships in the weeks ahead. However, in addition to the seventh house signifying love and marriage, the seventh house is also related to completion or fulfillment. You may, therefore, also see different things in your life coming to a state of completion or finalization (as in marriage vows, the completion of a study program, or the like).
Between July 7th and 9th, Mercury in Leo will conjoin with Mars in Leo in your eighth house of death, rebirth, and other people’s money, just as Mercury is turning retrograde. This could symbolize a spouse or partner’s money, job, or business, potentially bringing reversals of fortune, reorganization of business structures, or the termination of contracts or different business relationships. This transit may also generally indicate a series of financial challenges, debts, bills, or expenses, perhaps related to technology. You should also beware of the potential for a flare up of egos and the potential for conflicts related to pride and power.
Between July 9th and 16th, the Sun in Cancer in your seventh house of relationships will then move through oppositions to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn in your home sign and first house. Then, on July 16th, a Lunar Eclipse in your sign will fall in your first house also, new beginnings for you. Although lunar eclipses, especially those closely involve with Saturn and Pluto, may bring endings, contraction, and the work of difficult personal transformation, you will likely feel a lot better as a result, considering that ultimately, they are initiating you into a new era in your life. This likely will be concerned with balance. Given the presence of the Sun in the seventh house, it is likely that partnership is and issues that will come up for you in connection to your own development. You have the need to more clearly define yourself, your boundAries, and your desires, within the context of your relationships.
Between July 16th and the 21st, Venus in Cancer in your seventh house of relationships will then move through the same oppositions to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and your first house, further emphasizing the personal changes happening for you now. You are simultaneously seeking harmony in relationships or perhaps experiencing the deepening of emotional bonds, beauty, or the rising importance for you of family ties. While it may not be entirely easy to find the balance between your personal needs and the needs of others right now, these eclipses are quite clearly indicators that this is a sacred and destined moment for you, one that you could try to open your heart to.
Finally, on July 31st, the next New Moon will fall in Leo in your eighth house, along with Venus, while both are squaring Uranus in Taurus in your fifth house of children, joy, and creativity. While the topic of a spouse or partner’s income, business, or profession may continue to be in the spotlight this month, this transit also brings the need for creative individuation, experimentation, and greater freedom. If you have been involved in any unhealthy co-dependent patterns in your relationships, the Moon cycle ahead may also push you to work on ways of finding healthier dynamics that facilitate the need for deeper sharing and collaboration while also honoring your own individual needs and perhaps creative differences with a partner.
