September begins just after Mercury has stationed to direct motion, ending the major part of the Mercury Retrograde period through your resources sector – which might have been something of an introspective time for you. You have likely been reflecting on your values, your finances, and your resources in general. With prominent Pluto, this past cycle has also been a transformational time for you, and your values have been recently becoming more individualized and particular to your own internal wavelength. Transformation continues into the current cycle, with Pluto operating in a slightly different mode having slipped back into Capricorn on September 1st. As Mercury settles down over the month’s first ten days, slowly escaping its post-retrograde shadow, the situation with having to do everything twice or more to get it done gradually improves.

On September 2nd , the Virgo New Moon arrives in your sector of communication and learning, which carries an indication that it could be time to streamline your thinking and prioritize the application of your skills in tangible ways. Focusing on the essentials could be easier said than done and a work in progress. With Mars in aspect to both Neptune and Pluto on the edge of your sign, transformation and a strong pull to idealistic visioning are a significant part of your month as well. The next several weeks could bring a push towards refining what you have learned and distilling big-picture ideas into practicality, and vice-versa.

Mars enters Cancer on the 4th which could bring you determination and focus in the coming weeks especially for your creative self-expression and the things that matters the most to you and that you love. An added emphasis on career matters is also indicated.

The Pisces Full Moon – which is also a partial eclipse – lands on the 17th, and emphasizes a culmination process relating to everything that is going on with you this month. Your mastery around a particular topic is being illuminated in major ways at this time. You could also be contemplating a long-term trajectory related to learning, teaching or traveling. You may feel new possibilities arising, particularly for things related to your ambitions and your visions for the future. The Sun enters Libra on September 22nd signaling the September Equinox, which could shift your focus even more towards familial, relational and domestic matters. Venus in Libra forms a square with Pluto in Capricorn as she enters Scorpio on the same day which may emphasize underlying power dynamics at play in one of your relationships. Mercury enters Libra on the 26th and joins the Sun in Libra on the 30th for what is known as a Mercury Cazimi when the messenger planet is invited to the royal chambers to receive enlightenment from the Sun. This ending of the month could thus arrive in ways that present an opportunity to gain clarity regarding early childhood patterns and for letting go of something that has been holding you back in some ways.
