You are seeking success this month, Aquarius, but that exploration is taking place largely on the inside. You are engaged in a monumental struggle to better comprehend your own depths, including unconscious process, internal wounding, and the requisite inner work needed to make progress in this subtle arena, where it serves you to “close your eyes to see.” Your self-expression is returning this month with a roar, with loads of energy for future plans that further your own evolutionary development. Home and family concerns weigh into this, as you come closer to settling questions of family of origin, and as you better understand the dynamics of your personal interactions. In the Full Moon weekend of May 18th, heart space and familial issues come to the fore. Through it all you are finding permission within yourself to articulate your most profound truth and, what is more, to act upon it.

From May 1st to May 3rd, Mercury in Aries in your third house of the mind and communication will make a sextile and mutual reception with Mars in Gemini in your fifth house of creativity and good fortune. Mercury will also square your ruling planet, Saturn, along with the South Node and, eventually, as it conjuncts Eris, square Pluto in Capricorn in your twelfth house of dissolution and surrender. Mars in Gemini will then oppose Jupiter in Sagittarius between May 5th and 6th. Right now there is a lot of creative mental energy in your immediate environment that can be easily harnessed into order to create and implement strategies for personal success. However, with Mercury’s square to Saturn in the twelfth house, the underlying viability of the entire project, or your entire life direction right now, on some level, may be in question. Make sure that you are taking a lot of time to think through everything that you’re doing on a much deeper level before implementing things too quickly or taking dramatic actions or big risks. You may also find that certain philosophical or ideological tensions are quite strong right now within your relationships, or that you are receiving some pushback from others about the choices you are making. Pay attention to what other people are saying because with your ruling planet, along with Pluto, having recently turned retrograde in the twelfth house, it would be all too easy to move through this time somewhat unconsciously.

On May 4th, the New Moon in Taurus will land in your fourth house of home and family, highlighting the importance of the domestic sphere of life in the lunar cycle to come. This theme includes also deep feelings that are normally distant from your analytical mind, but it might do you good to take a dive into your deeper emotional basis.

Then, on May 7th and 8th, intelligent Mercury will conjoin erratic and revolutionary Uranus in your fourth house, bringing a time of inventive if not somewhat destabilizing energy into your home life. Even though this transit is brief, your life will be changing at the roots now for many years to come as Uranus makes its way through your fourth house and shifts the entire foundation of your life for the next seven years.

Between May 6th and May 10th, Venus in Aries in your third house of communication and the mind will also move through squares to Saturn, the South Node, and Pluto in Capricorn in your twelfth house of dissolution. Venus in Aries will also conjunct Eris and make a trine to Jupiter in Sagittarius in your eleventh house of friends and allies. This transit will ask you to define your social commitments in a more thoughtful manner, or it may place pressure on you to conform to different social standards that may not be entirely healthy. Once more, it’s very important that you reflect very deeply on what is and isn’t true to your own nature. With Venus making a trine to Jupiter, it may be difficult to locate your truth amid an aura of bigness, social competition or glamour.

Between May 10th and May 15th, the Sun in Taurus in your fourth house of home and property will be making trines to Saturn, the South Node of the Moon, and Pluto in Capricorn in your twelfth house of dissolution, self-undoing, and surrender. On May 14th, the Moon in Virgo in your eighth house of death and rebirth will get in on the action, creating a temporary grand earth trine. This should be a highly productive, results-driven period for you, focused on significant work at home, or regarding family members or even property or land. However, for as productive as this period is likely to be, you are still working through a deeper level of unconscious or karmic material related to your roots right now, which may not be entirely easy.

On May 18th, the Full Moon in Scorpio will fall in your career house, while relational Venus in Taurus will conjoin revolutionary Uranus in your fourth house of home and family. Don’t be surprised if the transformations taking place on the home front intensifies while adding a more intensely charged dynamic related to work or professional matters at the same time.

With the ruler of the Full Moon, Mars, in the sign of Cancer in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, squaring Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in Aries in your third house, it’s likely that some of the intensity and drama around home and family this month will involve a closer look at communication patterns, as well as patterns of mental or emotional health.

Finally, from May 29th to May 30th, Mercury in Gemini in your fifth house of creativity will square Neptune in Pisces in your second house of money and resources, while also opposing Jupiter in Sagittarius in your eleventh house of friends and allies. The month closes by presenting you with new resources, allies, and opportunities, perhaps especially related to business or finances. This could work out well for you, perhaps giving you some much needed financial, educational, or even emotional support. However, with Neptune in the mix and your ruling planet in the twelfth house for another year, you will want to remain reflective, detached, and as objective as possible when making big financial or professional decisions, especially (this month) as they relate to your home or domestic situation.
