There is also the retrograde of your ruler, Mercury, that ended just before December began and is still recovering. Mercury is up to some strange tricks still in the remainder of the thirty-day lunation cycle, originating in the Scorpio New Moon from the last two weeks of the previous month and covering the first two and a half weeks of this one. There was in the timing of that recent Scorpio New Moon a Cazimi moment between Mercury, Sun, and Moon separated by a mere quarter of a degree, that carries forward into the current cycle, so that as you contemplate your communication style and your learning curve, also examining home and family dynamics – along with your growing understanding of your psychological roots – moments of extreme clarity are more than possible. In these opening weeks, based, again, on the recent New Moon, all the outer planets are featured, especially Trickster Uranus, opposite the New Moon at the top of your solar chart, and therefore affecting career choices and professional life, which could partake of sudden and surprising events and realizations. The transformation of your day-to-day patterns continues and could result in adjustments with some of these old and outmoded habits being discarded in favor of the novel and the more directly relevant. Your relationship approach is also featured in the December month’s first half, as is career versus your more private self which may be seeking a creative balance. Partnership agreements are in the crosshairs as well, with issues of commitment and truth-telling potentially coming to the fore. Mercury Direct and Recovering, since November 29th
