This is another amazing month for you, Virgo, when many things of a more internal nature might be revealed. The ongoing retrograde of your chart ruler, Mercury, along with that of Venus, is still powerful. After Mercury’s April 7th station, it changes in flavor to the post-retrograde shadow period, which continues, while gradually fading, through to the 26th. You are also this month riding out the potent eclipse energy from the recent Aries New Moon, just before this month began, activating your sector of intimacy and personal evolution. This may bring up depth exploration of your internal world as a way through. You are likely in the process of shedding old habits that are in some way holding you back. The Mercury station on the 7th also represents an intense evocation of contraction in the partnership area of your solar chart and thus is a time of holding on and digging in to find the true gold as well as the lessons there. The Libra Full Moon of the 12th represents another very powerful juncture, bringing up relationship issues and the potential for inner wounding to arise in connection with partners and with your own struggle to evolve beyond your present circumstances. In the Moon’s Last Quarter on April 20th, you might find further complexities and transformation as well as a “crisis of consciousness” which can be resolved by diligent effort on your part and your faith in the universe to guide you through.

You will re-encounter your recent focus on private interactions and intimate partnerships all over again as you arrive to this current month in the wake of the recent Aries New Moon and Solar Eclipse from the final days of March, which governs the next thirty days of its lunation cycle lasting at least until April 27th and potentially influencing the next six-months. This powerful lunation lights up your sector of intimacy and personal evolution, to include energetic relationship entanglements along with inner exploration, partnership agreements, and rebirth. Your ruler, Mercury, remains in retrograde movement in this month’s first week, and then begins its recovery, the several weeks of its post-retrograde shadow, thereafter, so that April begins with an introspective attitude and deep meditative awareness that seeks more complete answers to questions about the key partnerships in your life.
You might examine unbreakable bonds and joint ownership, striving to become more aware of your obligations and what you’ve signed up to. The ruler of this potent New Moon eclipse is Mars, in your zone of friends and social networks, which closely squares Chiron in Aries during the New Moon, so that any pacts, promises or agreements could involve your community, as well.
With Chiron involved so directly, there may be something painful about your capacity to invest in a relationship, or take the next steps with a partner, and if such realizations emerge more fully into the light of conscious awareness in these April days, the best thing us to embrace such feelings rather than push them away. You have what is essentially a golden opportunity to investigate and to ease the hurt of hidden complexes within you that have perhaps been walled away because too painful t into at the early developmental stage of their first occurrence. You might find you’re compelled to be vulnerable, with others. With yourself, and it could turn out that your community is somehow helpful in your healing.
On the 4th, the First Quarter Moon arrives in Cancer, your sector of friendships, group connections, and future goals, with the Sun still in your eighth sector of intimacy, which is a contrast. The Moon is co-present in the Cancer sign with Mars for added energy. You could be sensitive to group settings, of extra-aware of your hopes and dreams. The status quo in society could become more visible to you, and your own reaction there more apparent.
In this First Quarter Moon also, Saturn in your relationship sector forms a sextile to Uranus in Taurus, your openminded sector of long-distance travel and personal development. Mars syncs with both – trine to Saturn, and sextile Uranus. This could underline what you’re getting out of certain unions, be it creative inspiration, a pregnancy or kids, a sense of happiness and fulfilment, or even a wedding celebration and shared project to enjoy.
Your wider network, social scene and a changed perspective on the world plays into this, with an altered perception and outlook. You might have liberated yourself, embracing a radically different lens of understanding.
A significant-other may feature strongly, as your ruling planet Mercury and Venus, both retrograde, are co-present with Saturn in your sector of one-to-ones. This could indicate a spouse, best friend, a romantic or business collaborator, or loved one but it could also represent a therapist, coach, or professional alliance – perhaps a child! Conversations may be revelatory, as you really hear what others say and mean.
From the 5th to the 7th, Venus enjoys a trine to Mars, a conjunction to Saturn and sextiles Uranus, and on the 7th also, Mercury stations to direct motion, therefore standing dead still in the sky at this time. You may be guided toward important goals and aspirations, as Mercury also governs your public image and reputation. Over the next couple of weeks, you can gradually begin making better sense of where you’re headed, while gaining insights into people in your community or online.
On the 12th, the Libra Full Moon lands in your second sector of values and resources, illuminating matters of self-worth, your personal contribution, and finances. You might be drawn toward paying attention to your role and what you have to offer, with and without others’ involvement. Mercury, your ruler, beginning to recover from its recent retrograde, is located on the edge of your sector of intimacy which relates to important partners. Also, immediately following the Full Moon, Venus stations direct. As the Libra sign is governed by Venus, you will want to pay extra attention to this planet’s shift to forward motion in the context of this Full Moon. You might become profoundly aware of a journey you’ve been on with partners, so that you’re now more gracefully attuned to the way others think or approach life. It’s possible you’ll appreciate any major cultural differences or be aware of the background that prompts them to see things as they do.
On the late evening of the 15th, your chart ruler Mercury re-enters Aries and forms an immediate conjunction to intuitive Neptune, in your intimacy sector, while three days later, on the 18th, Mars re-enters Leo or your sector of unconscious process and inner work. You might turn your attention to mutually beneficial arrangements, a set-up that works for you and another individual – or even an outside party with a hand in the path you’re currently engaged in. You could be in a process of facing up to where you’re actively involved or dependent on what others have to offer, be it resources, a service provided, or an unspoken promise to show up for you, and you for them.
Your energy is likely also to be somewhat directed inward, so that you’re introspective and more aware of potential vulnerabilities, deepening your participation with life itself. In terms of your relationship dynamic, committing long-term might not be comfortable, with or without a written contract, so that you benefit from acknowledging where you’re reliant, and for what, being direct if necessary.
From the 18th to the 20th, as Taurus Season begins on the 19th, Mars is trine Mercury conjunct Neptune in your intimacy sector, with the Sun also entering your sector of higher mind and broader horizons. Driving ahead in your private life now could be deeply evocative; you may be confronting your loyalties, what exactly is shared, and how you’re bonding for keeps, with no going back!
On the 20th, the Last Quarter Moon arrives in the second degree of Aquarius, conjunct Pluto. This is challenging, with the Sun, Mars and Pluto all tensely combined. There could be a collision of consciousness, where you are taking on new perspectives. This could partly be as you embark on an adventure with someone special, yet you must also be aware of your own inner world and its intuitive influence as well as your deepest principles and values, which are also invoked at this timing. Your health, and your everyday habit patterns continue to require your attention.
At this Last Quarter as well, Mercury is sextile Pluto, while Venus is conjunct Saturn and sextile Uranus, bringing forward the antithetical nature of these to outer planet archetypes. With also the strong Pluto involvement, this is an entirely transformational time. Committed collaborations, and the need to follow through with your obligations, xxxxx your life mission.
The Taurus New Moon arrives on the 27th in your compatible sign, and facilitates new projects with a significant figure, having taken a lot of time negotiating and considering where your partner or a key relationship stands. You may find that are embracing wisdom, education, and truth itself from a different angle. As you slide into May, the path of discovery and awareness opens further.
