This month brings further adventures in intimacy, Scorpio, following upon the last half of May, when relationship with important others in your life became emphasized. Your worldview is also shifting in accord with these recent developments. Surprising events and unexpected enlightenment continue to abound on the relationship front, and this goes for all forms of partnership including business collaborations. The cosmos is asking you to remain open to new ideas, and to fundamental transformation, and to stay alert for the inner meaning. The timing of the Sagittarius Full Moon, taking place mid-month, on Monday the 17th, represents a telling juncture. This is a time when your learning curve becomes even more steep, and when issues of friendship and group affiliation are allied with travel, education, and learning. These areas, as well as your beliefs, take on out-of-size proportions and reach for a more serious commitment. You feel the need to articulate your deepest values as part of a sense of mission for your life, going forward.

This month features two very potent planetary transits. The first is a long and slow-moving opposition from Mars, your ruler, in Cancer in your ninth house of spirituality, higher education, and long journeys, to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn in your third house of neighbors, siblings, and the mind. The second is a series of T-squares being made from planets in Gemini in your eighth house of death, rebirth, and shared resources, to Jupiter in Sagittarius in your second house of income, resources, and expenditures, and Neptune in Pisces in the fifth house of good fortune, creativity, and children.
Arguably, the most potent transits for everyone this month are the Mars oppositions, which are taking place between June 13th and June 21st, and which will be joined at the peak by a conjunction to Mars from Mercury in Cancer. Because Mars is your traditional ruling planet, his oppositions to Saturn and Pluto will be even more personal for you. Traditionally, the ninth house was a place of higher laws and wisdom, both those of society and of the greater universe. With your ruling planet moving through the vulnerable and emotional sign of Cancer in ninth house, you are likely exploring the deeper emotional and psychological “laws” of your own psyche this month. Hence, you may feel the need to express or assert your views or beliefs with greater force or conviction, or you may find that you are searching for deeper and more authentic learning experiences, teachers, or travel experiences. You may also feel the need to champion those in need, or to stand up for someone. However, you should also be careful of emotional outbursts or power struggles related to your beliefs and principles.
The oppositions to Saturn and Pluto in your third house may also suggest that you are torn between different kinds of duties and responsibilities this month, or that you are in a battle of wills related to clashing beliefs and ideologies, or even that you are feeling an inner divide between a more stoic or conservative voice and one that is more emotionally charged and assertive. Being objective may not come easily this month, but that doesn’t mean that your feelings aren’t in line with higher truth, either.
The other major series of transits comes from a series of planets in Gemini making oppositions to Jupiter in Sagittarius and squares to Neptune in Pisces and your fifth house of creative self-expression. First, the New Moon in Gemini stimulates the T-square on June 3rd, then the Sun in Gemini between June 9th and 10th, then the Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 17th, and then finally Venus in Gemini between June 22nd and 24th. All these configurations bring a strong spiritual, or possibly confusing, flavor to your financial picture and your creativity.
These transits bring the potential for financial growth. With a New Moon in the 8th house of other people’s money, it’s possible that money or income will be coming in from a partner or spouse, or that you’ll be taking out a loan or making a significant purchase. Considering Jupiter’s presence in your second house, it’s also likely that you are making more money this year or that you are investing your money into something new. Watch for a peak moment in relation to money and finances around June 17th, when the Full Moon lands in Sagittarius in your second house, and again between June 22nd and 24th, when fortunate Venus reactivates the T-square one last time from Gemini in the eighth house. The one red flag in all of this comes from Neptune in the 5th house, which along with Jupiter in the second may tempt you into extravagant spending, the accumulation of debt, or the allure of indulgent consumption patterns. It also wouldn’t be a surprise to see you helping one of your kids, if you have them, or in giving or receiving some form of financial charity or support.
Finally, on June 26th and 27th, the Sun in Cancer in your ninth house of higher Mind will square Chiron in Aries in your sixth house of service, bringing a moment of recognition of inner wounding, and also of illumination, wisdom, and emotional healing, which you may well be ready for after some of the intensity of this month’s oppositions from your ruling planet, Mars, to Saturn and Pluto.
