This is a month of consolidation and renewal, Pisces, as you continue to seek a closer integration between your deepest values and the deeds that support them. Your inner world is contributing mightily to your understanding of what you are really up to. The powerful Aries New Moon from the previous month got you closer to fully embracing this ideal of a better integration of heart and mind. The first few days of May also constitute a potent period, when you are finding intuitional inspiration to articulate new horizons of thought. You have long been on a path of shifting goals as well as the means to accomplish them, and your learning curve is acceleraing. The May 11th Taurus New Moon is follwed two days later by the entrance of Jupiter into your sign, and both events are positive developments in your search for wholeness. With the late May eclipse in your house of career and profession, and the subsequent retrograde of Mercury in your root sector, you are entering a new phase. Paradoxically you might find that the way down and the way up are one and the same.

As the month of May arrives you could be making more money while spending more also. The Aries New Moon from mid-April brought fresh energy to the financial sector of your chart. You may have gotten a raise or found ways to better streamline your cash flow. More extensively this period, including the first ten days of the current month, indicates a time of awareness regarding your sense of self-worth. It could be easier to gauge what your skills are worth and sell your talent to the highest bidder.
The innovative yet volatile conjunction of the Sun and Uranus in Taurus which was exact on the 30th of April continues to carry its influence into the first few days of May. Your desire to have more honest dialogues continues to be an issue as you seem to oscillate between shutting down versus being completely honest. The Sun in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius on the 3rd, and this brings up a degree of conflict surrounding this dynamic. You may feel stuck in your thinking or unable to speak your mind openly. You may be wrestling between your need for solitude and your desire to connect with others. While this is not an easy dynamic to reconcile, being aware of this existing tension can help you choose who you open up to without wasting your time on people who simply don’t get you.
Mercury enters its home sign of Gemini on the 3rd carrying your attention over to the home sector of your chart. Mercury will spend the next two months here and you could find yourself moving or rearranging your living space to make it more functional. Venus follows suit and enters Gemini on the 8th bringing echoes of a situation that was occurring last May when Venus was retrograde here in the sign of Gemini. You may be able to notice how much progress you have made since last year and perhaps close a chapter that began at that time.
The New Moon in Taurus on the 11th brings much-needed traction for your ideas. The New Moon in Taurus offers a good dose of pragmatism along with creative flair thanks to the sextile from Neptune in Pisces. Some may call you idealistic but it's a good time to envision bigger goals for yourself that includes some of your more eccentric or innovative ideas.
There is more good news on the way once lucky planet Jupiter enters your sign on the 13th where it will be for the next 10 weeks. Jupiter is considered the traditional ruling planet of Pisces being able to express its potential more freely. You may find your outlook on things opening up as Jupiter transit in your sign allowing you to see the bigger picture more clearly. Jupiter will leave Pisces and return to Aquarius on July 28th before officially returning to your sign at the end of December. You may see a new and bright picture emerging in connection with your overall direction as the Greater Benefic grace your sign over the next two and a half months.
The Sun entering Gemini on the 20th signals the beginning of the Mutable season which also correlates with the beginning of Eclipse season. Mutability in Astrology relates to the signs which sit at the end of each season indicating a transitional time. Since Pisces is also a Mutable sign you may feel right at home with the changes currently taking place. Eclipses bring much of the same as they are often said to trigger dynamic changes on a bigger scale, sometimes drastic and sometimes imperceptible ones which influence the next several months with their momentum.
On Wednesday, May 26th, the first lunar eclipse of the 2021 year takes place in the sign of Sagittarius, falling in the vocational sector in your solar chart. This could be a time of doors closing and new ones opening either voluntarily or simply due to circumstances.
The changes initiated now may take longer than anticipated with Mercury also stationing retrograde in Gemini at the end of the month, lasting in retrograde motion until June 22nd and escaping its retrograde shadow by the middle of the first full week of July. Mercury is also squaring Neptune in Pisces while turning retrograde which could throw doubt or confusion in the mix. There could be unforeseen factors throwing a wrench in your well-calculated plans or you may be second guessing the feasibility of a scenario. Give yourself time to process the changes taking place at the end of May before trying to define things too clearly. A lot of things could be up in the air until late June and early July, so that going with the flow might be your best bet.
