This month is another interesting one for you, Pisces, featuring your concept of how to be of greater utility to others. Your self-development has been moving right along for the many months that Neptune has resided in his own sign, yours, and especially in recent weeks when he has been featured. This month, Venus opposes Neptune at the Leo New Moon of August 8th, which indicates even greater emphasis on issues of your evolving identity and mission of service. Your creativity is the background for staking a claim on a new feeling of life purpose, while arising within you are intimations of where your immortal soul is wanting you to go. Your dreams are active now, and may provide necessary clues, as does your deep commitment lately to inner work. Things are definitely changing with regard to your prospective plans. You are playing detective in assessing which impulses to ignore and which to elevate. You are looking for the gold of where to align your sense of societal contribution with the direction your heart has been telling you, all along, to follow.

The New Moon in Cancer on July 9th brought a breath of fresh air to your creative and romantic life and you are still coasting off the positive influences that permeated mid-July. Your creativity having been your focus for most of the preceding month, you are likely still reviewing and thinking about different approaches in this first week of August, leading up to the next New Moon taking place at the very beginning of the month’s second week. Also, your traditional ruler Jupiter has now exited your sign to return to Aquarius, corresponding to your soul sector. This emphasizes your more introspective side. You may find yourself contemplating many issues that were on your mind from last month or from the beginning of the year and you may need to schedule time for solitude and contemplation in order to sort out your priorities. Jupiter remains in Aquarius for several months until the end of the year.
On August 1st, a clarifying conjunction takes place between Mercury and the Sun in the sign of Leo that may help you get on track with your routine. The need to assess your habits after the excess of the last few months could be on your mind so that it's a good time to reset your stance on health matters. At this beginning of the month as well, Saturn in Aquarius opposing the Sun and Mercury in Leo may be your cue to assess your overall emotional and physical state. You could be in need of space and quiet, however it could feel difficult to actualize. Venus in Virgo trine Uranus in Taurus during this first week may not feel restful but could bring exciting opportunities to socialize.
On August 8th, the New Moon in Leo brings an important reset for your habits and may help you get on track for all things related to your health. You could be more aware than usual of your energy level and your need to recharge your battery with restorative activities. The New Moon squares Uranus in Taurus creating a relatively wild experience with regard to your ideas and your communicative outreach — and could also bring some unforeseen elements to the mix. This might impel you to remain flexible.
During the second week of August, Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces and trine Pluto in Capricorn could find you reflecting on partnerships with an idealistic eye. You could be fantasizing about the perfect relationship or have unrealistically high expectations towards a partner. Be mindful of projecting or idealizing someone or something at the risk of becoming disenchanted with reality once the shimmering veneer falls off. Mercury entering Virgo on the 11th will continue to bring attention to your partnerships in the following weeks but Mercury could help you discriminate between reality and fiction and sort out what you want.
On the 15th, Venus entering Libra, the sign of her rulership, could emphasize joint finances, taxes, contracts, and your intimate bonds, an effect that may linger into September. Romantic feelings or idealism could continue to tug at the darker parts of your psyche, perhaps asking you to acknowledge your desires in a more integrated fashion. Mercury conjunct Mars in Virgo on the 18th might confront you to the practicalities and realities of a relationship and someone may ask you to clarify your intentions with them. This aspect does not need to be difficult but you could have to deal with impatience or anxiety arising from someone looking for answers.
The Full Moon in Aquarius on the 22nd shines a bright light on your inner world which may help you consciously integrate some fears or emotions that usually seem inaccessible. This is the second Full Moon in Aquarius in a row, the first one having occurred 30 days prior, in late July, when the Sun was just entering Leo. Now it is leaving that sign, and also this time, the Full Moon is conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius which may bring some form or spiritual or mystical insights about yourself that unlocks a new perspective on your current situation. The Sun enters Virgo later that same day, revitalizing your partnerships sector in the following month.
In this Full Moon as well, Venus in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius until the 23rd which may continue to bring a sobering influence that helps you integrate more difficult topics. It benefits you not to shy away from opening up to others and sharing your emotions at this time. You may be surprised at the support available to you once you try, and others’ willingness to help you move through your current process. Opening yourself to someone may have a cathartic or supportive influence in the last days of August, especially as Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries on the 26th.
Mercury enters Libra on the 29th, at very nearly the end of the month — where it will spend an unusually long time. This is due to its stationing retrograde at the end of September. You may find yourself in a drawn-out process that requires you to sort out joint assets, taxes, or the resources available to you through a partnership. More extensively, Mercury transiting in Libra until November 5th could also find you revising what you want and what you need from your partnerships.
