This is another interesting month, Pisces, as you consolidate the recent revolution in your thinking about who and what you really are. You move forward into your developmental arc of your life direction with a renewed sense of purpose. The recent retrograde of Mercury through your sign interacted strongly with your ruler, Neptune, and you emerge from the previous month knowing that you have been through something major. The question becomes what to do with the knowledge you have gained. Changes to your thinking have affected the way that you see all your relationships, and your pathway forward, so that you do well to reassess during at least the first two weeks of April. You must learn to take inner wounding into account as you do so. You may find that the only thing that truly matters is what you are able to articulate through a process of deep intuition, independent of the tides of consensus thinking by which the surrounding society attempts to constrain you, straight from your heart.
The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School
It’s an especially powerful month for Pisceans, with a series of transits taking place in your first house and home sign of Pisces, while also connecting with Sagittarius in your tenth house of career. Starting on April 2nd, Mercury will conjoin Neptune in Pisces, and then Mercury will square your ruling planet, Jupiter, in the sign of Sagittarius by April 12th. Then, Venus will conjoin Neptune in Pisces on April 10th, and then move into a square with Jupiter in Sagittarius by April 15th. Both sequences point to a period of personal growth related to your public/professional life and reputation. However, you may be questioning who you are and what you really stand for right now, or you might be trying to discern the best way to present yourself to others without losing too much of your own essential nature. While the opportunity for growth in your professional life is pronounced all year long with Jupiter in your tenth house of career, the simultaneous square to Neptune in your first house will continue to call into question your personal character and integrity. Are you who you say you are' Are you hiding anything' Even from yourself' Are you growing personally, and spiritually, or are you just pining for success and recognition' These and many other core identity issues come with professional growth package this year, and perhaps not more pronounced than this month.
On April 5th, the New Moon in Aries will fall in your second house of money and personal resources, and then the Sun in Aries will square Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn in your eleventh house of friends, groups, and allies between April 10th and 13th. The Moon cycle ahead is thus focused on both new financial beginnings as well as critical junctures in your relationships with colleagues and friends, or within groups that you belong to. Be careful not to make overly impulsive or rigid decisions regarding financial matters right now and beware of the temptation to make hasty decisions based on the desire to please those you look up to or in the hopes of future gains.
The Full Moon in Libra on April 19th will fall in your eighth house of death, rebirth, and other people’s money, suggesting a moment of karmic reckoning related to both money or business, friendships, or intimate relationships. You should therefore be proactive and try to embrace the Libran qualities of balance, harmony, patience, and fairness right away.
Between April 19th and the 23rd, both Mercury and Venus will enter Aries in your second house of money and resources and conjoin Chiron, the Wounded Healer, bringing the potential for learning, healing, and personal growth related to both money and relationships. Especially important to Chiron’s now long sojourn through your second house is the overall need for a new mental and emotional strategy or approach to your finances and to material resources in general.
On April 20th, the Sun will enter Taurus and move into a conjunction with Uranus, until the 23rd, in your third house of the mind, siblings, and your immediate environment. Don’t be surprised if you experience a few moments of disruption or unexpected shakeups in your immediate environment during this transit, but also watch for breakthroughs in your thinking, for sudden epiphanies that liberate, and for insights or learning experiences that inspire you.
Finally, between April 25th and 27th, Mars in Gemini in your fourth house of home and family will square Neptune in Pisces in your first house and home sign. This transit may bring up the need to address conflicts or disturbances at home or in your family. It may also call you to take up action on behalf of someone who is struggling in your family. Whatever the case might be, Mars/Neptune transits can be a little bit like Joan of Arc, in that they call you to a higher vision or crusade of some kind. The question with Mars/Neptune is always whether the crusade is real, and worthy of your energy, or if it’s simply an imaginary battle you are waging in your own psyche.
