This is a month of coming into greater understanding of yourself and others, Leo, and of your place in the world from the perspective of an interlocking network. The February 4th New Moon lights up your relationship sector, and brings a sense of participation mystique with partners and with others around you. You are simultaneously called to concepts of service to the surrounding social matrix, seen as though you were an inextricable part. The Full Moon two weeks later, on the 19th, brings up further issues of self and other, as surprising revelations continue. You are seeking a place to stand, philosophically, and in Spirit, and, what is more, finding it. If you follow your inner guidance, it leads you to a deep intuitional understanding of natural law and its practical applications. It turns out that everything you do is full of right action and deep purpose if you can get in touch with your most sincere values and use only these to back your deeds.

The month begins as Mars in Aries in your ninth house of long journeys and the higher mind makes a square to Pluto in the sixth house of labor, sickness, and service, perfecting on February 2nd. Watch for heightened conflict or tension surrounding your beliefs, ideals, and internal motivations, while also taking advantage of opportunities to put your ideas into practice. At the same time, Venus in Sagittarius in your fifth house of children, creativity, and the arts, will make a trine to Uranus in Aries in the ninth house, signaling a moment of defiant philosophizing, creative thinking, and upbeat diplomacy. However, with Venus also making a square to Chiron in Pisces in the eighth house, be careful that you aren’t trying to avoid an honest conversation or a more honest look at your own motivations.
On February 3rd, Venus will enter Capricorn and move into your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, where it will bring allies, blessings, beauty and health to what might otherwise be a strenuous or hard-working period. You may also find women who come to help or support you in the daily grind right now, or blessings from the feminine energy in general.
On February 4th, the New Moon in Aquarius falls in your seventh house of relationships, indicating the start of something new that will blossom and grow in your relationships in the lunar cycle ahead. This starts with a commitment to service, as indicated by a highlighted presence of Saturn in your sixth house, and also by inclusive feelings of intimacy regarding significant others in your life.
Between February 12th and 13th, Mars will conjoin with Uranus in Aries in your ninth house of the higher mind and long journeys, signaling a philosophical and possibly spiritual breakthrough. However, this could just as easily signal a moment of philosophical defiance. Again, this month it’s very important that you examine your motives and be deeply honest with yourself so that the change of mind you are experiencing is truly in service to your highest self, rather than being just a moment of fleeting rebelliousness. On February 14th, Mars will then move into Taurus and enter your tenth house of career, bringing focus, drive, action, and possibly confrontation to work dynamics for the next month and beyond.
On February 18th and 19th, Venus will conjoin Saturn in Capricorn in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, bringing themes of beauty and commitment, age, experience, and harmony into focus. You may find that you are reaching the natural conclusion of various work relationships in your life, or that you are ready to start a new work relationship, or perhaps even hire someone to help you with a new project. On February 18th, as well, Chiron will also enter the sign of Aries and move into your ninth house of the higher mind and long journeys, where it will stay for the better part of the next decade. Chiron’s entrance into your ninth house will thus launch you into a long period of exploring your beliefs and spirituality, perhaps bringing new teachers and subjects for study into your life. You may have some healing work to do in the realm of spirituality and higher education in the years to come. It may also involve visiting your relation to anger, competition, will, and aggression.
On February 19th, the Full Moon in Virgo will fall in your second house, emphasizing the importance of your time, money, energy, and resources, and perhaps bringing with it the benefits of hard work or business investments from the past. At the same time, Mercury in Pisces will be conjoining Neptune in Pisces in your eighth house, which may simultaneously bring a partner’s money or finances into focus.
On February 22nd, Venus in Capricorn will conjoin Pluto in Capricorn in your sixth house, bringing a moment of catharsis and intensity into your work relationships, or in relation to women, lovers, or friends. It may not be the easiest moment, but as the month winds down and as Venus applies to a square with Uranus in Aries in the 9th house of the higher mind, it’s clear that you are trying to get down to what beliefs and ideas are most important to you. It may be impossible to do this without some very hard work or without some resulting tension in your relationships.
