This is a decisive month for you, Capricorn, a practical, compelling and spiritually inspiring time. Your work in the world is a huge focus for you now, and is subject to some abrupt and unexpected changes in direction, which can cause consternation, and yet which also allow new doorways to open for you. This is true to the extent that you can stay alert to all your possibilities. Your self-concept continues to be in tremendous flux, especially during the second half of the month, initiated by the Aries Full Moon of October 13th. Unconscious layers of intuition are available to you now, and essentially on your side, representing the intimations of your higher self. You are getting the idea that your work in the world must be strictly related to your deepest values, to the extent that these are known to your conscious understanding. One important task before you therefore lies in sussing out what exactly you hold within yourself as bottom-line and incontrovertible standards of belief.

The month begins right on the heels of a New Moon in Libra (from September 28th) in your tenth house of career, indicating that you are making a fresh start of some kind in that department of your life. One factor with that is Uranus in Taurus, in your fifth house, because closely aspected by the Sun and Moon, will be greatly emphasized in the month ahead, during the entire thirty-day lunation cycle of this New Moon. You may well experience strange or disruptive occurrences especially with regard to your creative projects or romances.
As the month unfolds, several transits from planets in Libra to planets in your home sign and first house of Capricorn will also continue to put personal and professional changes in the spotlight for you. The action begins on October 3rd, when Mars, god of war and courage, enters Libra and moves into your career house, followed by the Sun in Libra squaring your ruling planet, Saturn, in your home sign of Capricorn on October 7th, followed by the Sun’s square to Pluto in Capricorn between October 13th and 14th. All month long, you are facing critical personal decisions related to the future of your career, or perhaps in relation to your workplace relationships, including those who are above you or those you share responsibilities or power with. You may also notice that questions of fairness, balance, ethics, and truth in relation to your job are weighing on you heavily this month, or that you are trying to discern the best strategy for dealing with a situation that will continue to unfold as the month wears on. Finally, it’s important that you be objective right now. Don’t let a negative or overly severe or rigid attitude lead you to make an imbalanced decision.
Another set of transits that are rolling through your chart this month come from planets in Scorpio making oppositions to Uranus in Taurus. These transits are taking place across your eleventh and fifth house axis, which are the houses of friends, groups, and allies as well as creativity, joy, and children, respectively. First, Mercury in Scorpio in your eleventh house opposes Uranus in Taurus in your fifth house on October 5th to the 7th, then Venus in Scorpio will oppose Uranus between October 11th and 13th. Through each one of these transits, you are facing challenges to the status quo within your social circles, among colleagues or allies at work, or within groups or organizations. These changes are being fueled by the need to honor a creative revolution taking place inside of you right now, reflected by Uranus’s slow journey through your fifth house (which began in May of 2018). So, watch for themes of creative, intellectual, and social revolution as the month unfolds, and don’t be surprised if you need to break out any outworn relationships. You may also find exciting new creative partnerships, groups, or new friends this month, especially those that are more in tune with the creative direction you are feeling inspired to follow.
The Full Moon in Aries will fall in your fourth house of home and family on October 13th. Your mind and heart might be more attuned to challenges, conflicts, or new initiatives taking place at home or within your family around the Full Moon this month. This Full Moon also triggers Pluto in your sign, indicating a large dose of personal transformation is present for you. Emotions may also be running high at home this month due to the amount of stress, tension, and creative transformation taking place for you both personally and at work. You may need to take a few days around this Full Moon to address your need for personal space or family time.
Mars in Libra squares Saturn, your ruling planet, located in your home sign of Capricorn, between October 26th and the 28th. This once again brings the spotlight on you, and the profound changes that you have been going through, over the course of an active month.
Finally, on October 27th, the New Moon will land in Scorpio in your eleventh house of friends, groups, and allies, while opposing revolutionary Uranus, in Taurus, in your fifth. This suggests that for the next full lunation cycle, continuing into late November, you will be continuing to focus on changes, healing, and greater freedom or creativity in your social life, or perhaps within religious or professional groups that you belong to, while unexpected happenings continue to provide added insight.
