This month is a somewhat crazy time for you, Gemini, especially at the very beginning. The good news is that you have the chance to make some real differences in your thinking about where you are currently heading. You are also becoming more aware, every day, of what is going on beneath the surface layers of your psyche, those dim but fertile regions that yield their important truths to a process of deep intuition, of which you have an abundance these days. That inner knowing, and as well your fertile imagination, which allows you to travel to worlds beyond the merely physical, brings you ideas that inspire you, and that you also find that you must doubt and resist, at times. The nay-saying side of your personality can find expression through difficult circumstances and also the communication of practical partners. You do need to be practical, but this month is also a time when you must dare to dream.

Oh my, this month marks in interesting passage for you, one in which the mysteries of life are revealing themselves in striking boldness, with a dash of cosmic trickery to keep you on your toes. The lunar cycle that covers most of May began on April 26th, a few days before the month began, with a potent New Moon in Taurus. Your ruling planet, Mercury, is reaching the depth of its retrograde cycle, and stations conjunct Uranus – interestingly, in an almost identical placement as in the previous New Moon of March. This suggests that you are being called to reflect thoughtfully and thoroughly upon the themes and content that have arisen in your life over the prior retrograde time, with a consideration of how you will harvest the lessons gained. If the New Moon of late March were a strike of lightning, the recent New Moon of late April was like the rolling rumble of thunder that follows, echoing what was illuminated. You may wish to stop and ask yourself some questions about your sense of belonging, how you fit in with your community or society at large, and particularly what is being reflected to you about yourself that is difficult for you to see or be with. You could be offered a shocking glimpse of subconscious parts of your psyche, confronting, yet ultimately calling you forth into wholeness and freedom in inhabiting the fullness and authenticity of your being.
Issues around self-worth in your career or worldly contributions could be challenging you to love yourself more fiercely and deeply. Life is asking you to be very clear in your boundAries, and in doing so showing yourself kindness by being very attentive to what feels good in relating to important others. When what you are up to does not feel good, it gives you a signal to pause, reflect, and take all the space that you need to inquire what’s going on within that. If you have in some way repeatedly abandoned yourself, a balance point will be reached in relation to other, synchronistic circumstances that will be quick to show you where you’ve wandered off course. Personal responsibility, taking ownership for your part of any challenging dynamics you find yourself in the midst of, is a big part of your learning process, now. Doing this is a skill like any other – the more you practice, the easier it becomes. You have an opportunity now to harness cosmic energies to come to your aid; this is provided that you actively commit to work on yourself and to thoroughly study your ways of relating to significant partners.
