You are coming into yourself in a new way this month, Capricorn, and taking your inner world into account as you do. You may find yourself communicating in an uncharact Eristically fuzzy manner that possesses as well an unusually clear depth of spirit. As has been the case more often than not lately, instability at the core could lead you to unpredictable feelings, and yet your spiritual task would seem to be finding the upside rather than dwelling on the implied chaos. Sometimes, as the Grateful Dead lyric goes, we can find enlightenment “in the strangest of places” if only we can orient ourselves properly. As Mars crosses into your sign, in the timing of the New Moon of the 17th, you are more invested than ever in the concept of better integrating your depth process with your more overt mental deliberations. Your thought process truly complete only when consciousness is one with the mystical inner vision that drives you from below.

The month of March begins with a Full Moon in your ninth house of the higher mind, spirituality, and the search for truth. You are focused on the bigger questions and deeper mysteries of existence right now, and, with the sign of Virgo highlighted, you are finding new ways to put your faith into practical use or service in the world.
On March 4th the Sun and Neptune conjoin in Pisces, therefore in your third house, while Mercury and Venus also conjoin in Pisces. With a stellium of planets rolling through the house of communication, writing, and messengers, there is also a tension at play to start the month between your higher beliefs and the need to communicate or disseminate those beliefs to others in a more personal way. Whatever your convictions might be right now just remember that you tend to err on the side of rules and tradition. It’s important to bring feeling, heart, and personality to the way you express yourself!
Late March 5th into early March 6th Mercury will cross into Aries and on March 6th Venus will also enter Aries, both moving into your fourth house of home and family. It’s easy for passion and intensity to overwhelm your home and family life, and it’s easy for miscommunication to occur right now if you aren’t demonstrating patience and compassion.
Between late in the evening of March 10th through March 13th Mercury and Venus in Aries in your fourth house will be moving through square aspects to Saturn in Capricorn in your first house. Whatever events are transpiring in your home and family life this month, if it doesn’t sit well with you then be sure to tell others exactly how you feel. If you can’t commit to something, just say so, but be careful not to push your own principles onto others. You aren’t likely to compromise right now with Saturn transiting through your first house, but don’t be surprised if those you are closest with are also quite pushy and intense with their own needs. Compromise is going to be necessary for everyone involved!
On March 17th the Pisces New Moon takes place in your third house of communication. This brings new energy to curiosity and learning endeavors, while also allowing for surprise information on the home front or emotional volatility or even a shade of instability to become a more significant factor. Also this day, Mars enters Capricorn and moves into your first house, marking a period of sustained effort, focus, determination, and success. Classically, Mars in Capricorn is exalted, which is good news for you because it means that your normal hard-working mentality is greatly benefited with an extra gear this month. Just make sure you don’t exhaust yourself, or others, in the process!
March 20th marks the Spring Equinox, at which time the Sun goes into Aries, moving into your fourth house, and signaling the dawning of the light half of the year. The Sun is exalted in Aries, and hence this advent of springtime is catalyzing you to make big changes. The Sun in the fourth house brings an even stronger emphasis to the area of home and family. You are likely being called to make some powerful adjustments to this area of your life. Whether that means a new home, home projects, or addressing challenging issues in your family relationships, now is a good time to get started.
Next, on March 23rd Venus in Aries in your fourth house squares Pluto in Capricorn in your first house, while Mercury also turns retrograde in Aries in your fourth house. Misunderstandings or changes of plans are likely to occur within your home and family this month, which could be quite personally frustrating or transformative for you. Just remember, whatever is happening in your family, be careful of the tendency to want to take responsibility for everything and everyone. Let other people be who they are and try to focus your time and energy on those things you can control…leave the rest or you’ll likely to be exhausted. Mercury stays wobbly for he next three to five weeks, finally completely straightening out in early May.
On March 28th Venus briefly conjoins Uranus in Aries in your fourth house. Here we see the planet of love and relationships conjoin with the planet of the rebel and the innovator in the house of home and family. You may be called to think outside of the box or to come up with innovative solutions to complex creative challenges or relationship demands. Don’t be surprised if your inner rebel or child needs to act out, or if your children are discovering their own inner rebel!
Finally, on March 31st it’s a Full Moon in Libra in your tenth house of career and reputation. Diplomacy, tact, and networking will be called for in the workplace. With so much emphasis on your fourth house of home and family this month, it might be easy to neglect equally important things happening on the job. Finding the right balance isn’t always easy for someone as driven to work hard and succeed as you are, but just remember that we only take our spiritual accomplishments with us when we pass from this world. So wherever your attention is called this month, focus on everything as though it is an opportunity for spiritual growth, first and foremost, and this will make you the most successful version of yourself that you can possibly be!
