Venus trine Jupiter: A Beautiful Adventure

Today we have three prominent astrological configurations: Venus in exact trine with Jupiter, Sun in exact trine with Uranus, and Mars moving into the airy and eccentric realms of Aquarius. These combinations of energies have great potential for delight and as well for surprises.
Venus is already walking through the lands of Sagittarius, and now coming to trine with this sign's ruler, Jupiter, there is an amplification of this energy. Connections with others could feel extra-adventurous, bright, and positive right now. This is a good time for open-hearted exchange within a close partnership connection, or with friends and new acquaintances; you could feel more inclined to live it up, savoring the deliciousness of life and finding extra beauty in the world around you. This could show up in a positive way as surplus motivation to play and spend time with your nearest and dearest, and yet it also could signal a spree of over-indulgence, or present you with such a sense of unbridled optimism and idealistic tendencies that you might find that you are skimming over important practical details. It might thus be wise to enjoy the excitement and hubbub while keeping a keen eye on remaining in alignment with grounding principles.
The Sun, which is in Sagittarius as well, is coming to trine Uranus in Aries, creating surprise and wonderment, perhaps an increase in intuition. Like Venus, the movement of the Sun is fairly quick, so that this is a short-term aspect, lasting only a couple of days. For the time being, Uranus shines a bright light on everyone?s sense of individual expression and ingenuity. You may have flashes of insight, or a sudden urge to take off on a weekend getaway, or perhaps you might be surprised (pleasantly or not) by circumstances that unexpectedly come to pass; in any case you are likely to be presented with the opportunity to simply be present with whatever twists and turns happen to arise during these few days.
Finally, Mars is stepping out of the practical realms of Capricorn at this same timing, and into the more eccentric and esoteric regions of Aquarius, the sign that Uranus rules, where the motivation to express your own unique voice and to communicate intellectual ideals with determination and force become amplified. Over this forty-day period, ending mid-January, you might find yourself growing bored easily as your mind constantly wishes for new information to be excited and stimulated by. Mars is a very physical planet, and Aquarius is the sign of intellect and mind, as well as group experience, so you that you could feel some degree of angst or antsy feeling. If the bursting energy of Mars is not moved through either rigorous mental or physical exertion, or better yet a combination of both, you will be itching for movement rather than sitting still for companionable presence, so be forewarned! A little physical exercise might be just the thing you need right now amidst the many and varied tensions of the season.
