ASPECT STRENGTH

Aspect strength describes how close an aspect is to being exact. The smaller the difference between the degrees of the two planets involved, the stronger the aspect is considered to be. A very close alignment typically has a more noticeable influence, while a wider gap may reflect a subtler effect.

In TimePassages, aspect strength also includes whether the aspect is forming or fading. A forming aspect occurs when the faster-moving planet is approaching exact alignment with the slower planet, indicating energy that is building or intensifying. A fading aspect occurs just after the exact alignment, when the influence may be softening or integrating.
