By Henry Seltzer and Adam Elenbaas for ASTROGRAPH Horoscopes
This is another amazing month for you, Scorpio, when, you are concerned with what is going on from the inside out. The New Moon of the first Monday of the month emphasizes home and family concerns, as well as those of your psychological roots. These become an important focus, along with the learning and growth associated with taking up, as indicated by other important astrological factors, a newfound sense of discipleship to your Higher Self. Your strong and your spiritual principles – lately part and parcel of your creative expression – also get a boost in this month’s timing, along with an urge to bring these idealistic leanings down to earth and to make practical use of them. Service to the surrounding collective is fundamental to your current mission statement. In the second half of the month, partners come more fully into the picture, enhancing your attitude toward taking a productive and self-sacrificial stand for what you know in your heart is the right course of action, going forward.
The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School
The month begins with your ruling planet Mars, in the sign of Aries in your sixth house of labor, sickness, and service, making a square to Pluto in Capricorn in your third house of the mind, communication, and siblings, bringing with it a moment of conflict and catharsis, depth and upheaval, especially in relation to mental and communicative dynamics, or perhaps in relation to your siblings. At the same time, Venus in Sagittarius in your second house of resources and money will trine Uranus in Aries in your sixth house, suggesting a moment of both blessing and breakthrough related to work and finances. However, with Venus making a square to Chiron in Pisces in your fifth house, you may also be visiting themes of healing and woundedness in relation to money and finances, joy and pleasure, and possibly even your children.
On February 3rd, Venus will then enter Capricorn in your third house of curiosity, the mind, and siblings, bringing to this area the themes of wise communication, beauty, maturity and feminine wisdom in relationships. Partners might become involved in your learning, writing, or communicative experiences.
On February 4th, the New Moon in Aquarius lands in your fourth house of home and family, emphasizing the domestic sphere of your life in the lunar cycle to come. This may include family of origin, current family dynamics, or the actual rearrangement of your dwelling space. This also brings your creativity into play and feelings of practical commitment.
Between February 12th and 13th, your ruling planet Mars, in Aries, will conjoin Uranus in Aries in the sixth house of work, sickness, and service, bringing a moment of defiance and decisiveness, rebellion and breakthrough. You may see these energies manifest in the workplace or in relation to your personal health or day to day activities. Then, on February 14th, Mars will move into Taurus and enter your seventh house of relationships, signaling an upcoming period of dynamism relative to your intimate relationships. Watch for themes of stubbornness or conflict in your relationships in the weeks to come. This is a slow and potentially inert period of relational tension for you, but the work you put in will yield results in time if you are persistent.
On February 18th and 19th, Venus will conjoin Saturn in Capricorn in the third house of the mind, siblings, and communication, bringing a more serious and committed mindset. Watch for news or messages that bring resolution and closure, and don’t be surprised if you are called on to be the voice of reason, experience, and wisdom in the situation. On February 18th, as well, Chiron enters Aries and moves into your sixth house, where it ill stay for the better part of the next decade. Chiron in your sixth house will bring many lessons in relation to your day-to-day health and work life, while also calling you to serve others and share your insights in increasingly courageous ways.
On February 19th, the Full Moon in Virgo lands in your eleventh house, placing a strong emphasis on the topics of friends, groups, allies and colleagues. With Mercury in Pisces simultaneously conjoining Neptune in Pisces in the fifth house of creativity, children, and joy, you are seeking for a deeper level of personal fulfillment and happiness from your social and professional life. Be careful that you do not settle for a superficial level of happiness or satisfaction. Cheap thrills will not satisfy you right now. What you’re looking for are connections and creative collaborations with real, kindred spirits.
On February 22nd, Venus in Capricorn will conjoin Pluto in Capricorn in your third house of communication, the mind, and siblings, bringing yet another moment of mental and communicative depth and intensity. With Venus a few days later moving toward a square with Uranus, perfecting by month’s end, the month closes with a demand for deeper honesty, individuality, and forthrightness in your relationships.
