This is another amazing month of transformation, Pisces, to the extent that you are open to change emerging into your life. The recent month had a lot going on as well, including the mid-July Cancer New Moon that featured Uranus, your ruler Neptune, and Pluto especially, in an extended set of aspects that has provided metamorphosis as a backdrop to the current month. The recent Aquarius Full Moon, just before the August month began, provided additional internal orientation. There has been an adjustment and a transformational pressure going on in this area for quite a while, bringing a glimpse of secret layers of your psyche and an inclination to pay closer attention to these dark and hidden places deep within you. These recent lunations still color the first eleven days of the current month. Regarding the second part of August, the big news is the potent Leo New Moon Solar Eclipse of August 12th. This again features the same triumvirate of outer planets, little moved from where they were in July, and now additionally triggered by Mercury at 5° of Leo, and Venus at 5° of Libra, closely aspecting Uranus in your fourth sector of home and family, as well as Pluto. The implication is that what will continue are surprise events and unexpected revelations in terms of familial interactions. Neptune is activated in your second sector of resources, including financial assets, and your values, so that things there might be difficult to get a handle on. Because Mercury lies in your sector of habitual patterns and day-to-day events and environment, there are implications for these shifting to meet the novel demands of the fractious times. Not for nothing is it said that “May you live in interesting times” is part curse, part blessing. As things shift, it is most important, perhaps, to stay fluid. Venus in her own sign being greatly triggered now, you could find that a greater degree of intimacy with partners is something you both seek and in some ways fear. The Lunar Eclipse Full Moon near August’s end has another powerful message of change as you look toward how to manage the coming fall season. Heading into year’s end, potent transformational energies are likely to be more the norm than the exception.

Previous New Moon in Cancer – July 14th
Romance, creativity, and the things you do purely for pleasure could be making their case through the first third of August. That pull traces back to the last vestiges of the lunation cycle initiated through the Cancer New Moon from mid-July. Mercury Retrograde, also active at that time, inclines to route you through the past before you can move ahead within these areas. A passion you once set down could return, showing you part of what still lights you up. And you might even reconsider how you relate in general to joy, happiness or leisure. Since this lunation trined your sign, trusting your emotional nudges may come easily, although putting your feelings into words can be harder. Neptune lends a dreamy, possibly hazy quality around your sense of self-worth and value, while Uranus, at the base of your chart, may bring sudden emotional shifts or abrupt changes; Pluto in your sector of unconscious process and inner work invites a transformation around you in these areas, including how inner wounding may limit you or produce self-sabotage.
Sun Trine Saturn – August 4th - 8th
The consistent daily efforts you put in now could pay you back in both money and personal value! As the Sun brings your awareness to the workplace, your health habits, and routines, you might feel inspired to alter the regular to-dos you typically assume, so you can be more productive, tend to your well-being, or make yourself more efficient. A consciously improved daily life supports the maturity Saturn is asking of you around how you value yourself. Your job could also provide a steadier income at this time. A practical, self-respecting stretch!
Venus Enters Libra – August 6th
This Venusian transit may feel quite emotionally charged for you! As she travels through the realm of entanglement, psychological rebirth, and crisis within your chart, you may crave, and hopefully create, closer bonds through honesty and a recognition of your own deep desires. Discovering silver linings surrounding difficult situations you have been through in the past is also possible — even making peace with a phase of grief. Her trines to Uranus and Pluto greatly support a pleasant emotional recalibration as well as a willingness to face inner fears. But keep in mind, she also opposes Neptune; you might pool resources or receive support from others while struggling to see your worth clearly enough to know the arrangement is fair.
Mercury Enters Leo – August 9th
This could be a rewarding time to grow within your workplace, form an uplifting co-working relationship, or make exciting progress improving your health as Mercury joins Jupiter in Leo. You could also begin incorporating studying, spiritual practice or mentoring into your daily life. But at the start of Mercury in Leo, an urge to retreat or self-reflect could make it harder to accomplish tasks, also highlighting insecurities around communication or your mind’s capabilities.
Mars Enters Cancer – August 11th
Mars traveling through your fifth sector of joy and self-expression may leave you eager to create, date, or spend more time doing what genuinely makes you happy. You could be ready to cut out hobbies, relationships, or once pleasurable activities that no longer excite you. Keep in mind, during Mars' first few days in Cancer, opportunities for emotional closeness or support from others may arise while uncertainty surrounding your personal finances or sense of security continues to unfold. Speaking openly about what's on your mind, especially the things you are worried about, can soothe your mind!
Solar Eclipse in Leo – August 12th
The ways in which you work, serve, and manage life's everyday demands could begin changing under the New Moon, or Solar, Eclipse in Leo. Taking place within your sixth sector alongside the South Node, this impassioned eclipse could encourage you to create situations that force you to leave behind habits, assume tasks, or even work relationships that no longer support your wellbeing. The grand cross at the center of this eclipse makes it clear that your routines, unconscious thought patterns, beliefs, and way of communicating are all influencing one another. Specifically, Mercury and Pluto in opposition could spark intense conversations, penetrating insights, or decisive moments that transform the way you approach your everyday life while also reshaping your relationship with rest, mental health, or time spent alone. With Chiron, the Wounded Healer, highlighted by the grand cross in your communication sector, you might want to beware of dogmatism, unconscious or otherwise. Because Mercury rules both your fourth and seventh sectors, potent ideas or new decisions can reshape family dynamics and the way you relate to the people closest to you. Chiron could bring about old fears you may have around speaking up or expressing your perspective more noticeably, while the new Nature planet, Haumea, supports the birth of a broader worldview, renewed curiosity, and a deeper sense of purpose. Rather than unfolding separately, these areas of life may be at odds with one another, making this a period of active pressure that calls for adjustments.
Mercury Conjunct Jupiter – August 14th - 15th
A more optimistic outlook on your everyday life may emerge as Mercury joins Jupiter in your sixth sector of work, health, and daily responsibilities. You may feel inspired to exchange ideas, learn practical skills, or seek guidance from trusted experts who encourage healthier habits and more fulfilling routines. Conversations with coworkers or healthcare professionals could also introduce helpful perspectives that make your days feel more purposeful or rewarding.
Sun Enters Virgo – August 22nd
Virgo Season illuminates others, often making your one-on-one relationships a greater priority during this time of year. You could feel increasingly invested in strengthening your partnerships and becoming more discerning about who you choose to be in relationship with. The moment this solar season begins, Venus opposes Saturn, potentially putting pressure on shared finances versus your personal resources. Around August 27th, you could feel torn between embracing how your feelings are changing and having emotional freedom versus showing up in a relationship the way the other person would like you to.
Mercury Enters Virgo – August 25th
Finding common ground within a partnership and understanding others in general may be easier than usual, while Mercury travels through Virgo. Having successful negotiations, signing fair contracts, and meeting new people that you can learn from or study with is possible. Practical solutions and clear communication usually come with Mercury in such an organized, grounded and detail-oriented sign!
Lunar Eclipse in Pisces – August 27th
A new chapter of personal growth and self-discovery could begin under this Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in your sign. Illuminating your first sector of self, this eclipse could coincide with significant beginnings and endings involving your identity, confidence, appearance, or the direction you'd like your life to take. As one version of yourself begins giving way to another, the North Node encourages you to embrace opportunities that feel new and growth oriented. Just before the eclipse, a Mercury Cazimi in Virgo offers greater understanding within your closest relationships, making honest conversations, meaningful agreements, or important decisions easier to navigate. Because Mercury also rules your fourth sector, these developments could naturally extend into your home life, family dynamics, or emotional foundation as well. Uranus then squares both the Sun and Mercury from your fourth sector, suggesting that there could also be unforeseen developments involving your domestic or private life — simultaneously impacting your closest relationships and your evolving sense of self. The eclipse grows even more complex thanks to a Yod to the Sun, from Pluto, and Neptune. As your relationships become more clearly defined, unconscious patterns and changing questions around self-worth or personal resources could make it difficult to approach partnership in exactly the same way as you have before. The more clearly you understand yourself, the more your relationships — and what you're willing to invest in them — might naturally begin to change.
