This is a transformational and emotionally productive month for you, Scorpio, with the continuing featured presence of Pluto at the very nadir of your solar chart, affecting your home and family sector with further change. The recent late Libra New Moon from October that took place at the edge of your sign has signaled revision and further exploration of both, on the one hand, identity and ultimate purpose, while on the other, the depths of your being in more deeply unconscious hidden layers within your psyche. It also seems that new dimensions of intimacy and personal evolution are also favored in this November timing. Over the course of a month that is sometimes difficult and at times triumphant, relationship with important others will be a significant and evolving part of your personal developmental journey. You are also conceivably dealing with inner wounding that may arise to haunt you, and which could also yield to a concerted effort of your part consisting of surrender, acceptance, and self-love. Decisions and actions that you take in a positive way at this timing may prove pivotal and, in this way, last you a very long time. The Taurus Full Moon of the 5th brings up for you to contemplate fresh issues of self and other, and also might signal a sudden left turn on matters of identity that you have been mulling over. Mercury’s station to retrograde motion on the 9th further shifts the energy toward an introspective and meditative period. You could be reviewing and potentially revising your values and finances, perhaps the meaning in general of materialism versus a more free-flowing set of ideals to meditate on for eventually moving forward. This mid-month is an unusual timing in that, while you are all for powerfully transformative idealized vision, there is also an awareness of obstacles and limitations hindering such an approach. The New Moon in your sign of the 19th is in its own way a quite significant juncture, one peak of the Mercury Retrograde period, when you are seeking greater clarity as all these matters come further to a head.

Astrologers often associate the sign of Scorpio with a natural talent for psychological insights and the ability to unearth what is hidden deep in the unconscious realms. Although this may be true when it comes to understanding other people, when it comes to understanding yourself, you may at times be left wondering what it is that you truly want. There a is a strong drive for internal transformation revealed in the recent Libra New Moon which took place in late October and influences the first half of November. This was a potent and innovative energy for change. November might be emphasizing the more paradoxical side of your nature, the one that wants to hold on tightly to the status quo anti, and yet completely transform. Inner wounding, which comes up for you this month as well, might be an important part of this to the extent that you acknowledge it. Of course, you may be well aware that there is no way to invite change into your life without releasing the old. November still could find you sitting on the edge of your seat, holding on to a dead or dying set of principles and habits with one hand and reaching for the exit door with the other.

This is also a month of great depth of feeling and of reaching for new understanding about your true nature and life direction. Change is hard and there are so many unknown factors that cannot be controlled; this month may continue to bring insights regarding your own motivations and what you truly want which most likely also has something to do with more love and self-acceptance.

On the 1st and 2nd, Venus in Libra symbolizing inner work is opposing Chiron in Aries and squaring Jupiter in Cancer; and this could emphasize a healing journey you have been on and how much your mental and physical well-being are interconnected. If inner wounding does arise you have the choice of attempting to bury it, and put off dealing with hidden aspects of yourself that are calling for your acknowledgement, or else with getting on with it as best you can, reaching out to your hurt places with loving recognition and acceptance.

On the 4th, Mars in your sign forms a trine with Neptune in Pisces before entering Sagittarius and directly opposing Uranus in Gemini. This is a volatile and somewhat risky moment in the month’s first week, when surprising events and unexpected revelations are more than possible, and when there is much to gain from your intuition.

The Full Moon in Taurus that takes place on November 5th is in some ways one of the biggest Moons of the year as it culminates while orbiting closest to the Earth. This Full Moon creates a focus on issues of self and other, so that your very partnership dynamic could come up in your thinking and feeling for your review and reassessment. The Full Moon could magnify your desires for safety and stability in your relationship along with your internal need for changing up certain habitual patterns in regard to others that may have reached a point of transformation. It may be easier to connect with what you truly want by letting go of preconceptions and staying right there in the moment with your feelings.

Venus enters your sign on the 6th and will be moving through Scorpio from the 6th to the 30th which could solidify your commitment towards an important change in the coming weeks along with feeling more confident in yourself while yet taking a more honest look at what you really want.

On November 6th, also, to the 8th, Venus now in your sign forms a dynamic square with Pluto in Aquarius, further emphasizing the changes and transformations you may feel compelled to make. There also may be a secretive element to your changes at this time.

On the 7th, Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus where it might be finalizing a chapter that began years back, perhaps around 2018. In the months before Uranus officially re-enters Gemini in late April of 2026, some of this old energy could come up. Uranus in Taurus for the past several years could have brought a certain amount of unpredictability in the realm of your relationships which may have nudged you into finding your own center of gravity as opposed to relying for stability on others. Now that his transit of this sector has returned, Uranus is in retreat from recent bold new territory, and you could leaning in on what you have learned so far about autonomy.

Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius on the 9th which may emphasize reflections on your own values versus what distracts you from the standpoint of consensus thinking or peer pressure. You are likely in a more internal mode and reviewing or revising your approach in many different areas. Mercury stations to direct motion on the 29th and finally escapes its post-retrograde shadow on December 16th. All during that time, you are more introspective and only part way into inhabiting the everyday “real” world. Joyous and expansive Jupiter is highlighted now as well and could indicate a swing toward the philosophical as you meditate on where your life might be taking you.

On the 11th, Jupiter follows suit, turning retrograde in Cancer, on the same day as the Moon’s Last Quarter at 20° of Leo. This impacts your career sector, and likely throws you a few curveballs in the lunar phase that Dan Rudhyar referred to as a “crisis in action.” The Sun in Scorpio also trines Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces so there is tons of energy and an interest in what is happen all through the society that surrounds you. The Mercury Retrograde also gets a boost from its conjunction with Mars, your traditional ruler. This could be the most excited you will get from the interior viewpoint of the retrograde in advance of the climactic New Moon late in your sign of the following week.

On the 17th, Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius forms a trine with Pluto in Aquarius, bringing up further transformational pressure. This before Mercury re-enters Scorpio backward on the 18th in preparation for its meeting there with the Sun and Moon.

Another powerful New Moon arrives in your sign the late evening of November 19th, which could be after midnight and so the 20th for the east coast and Europe. The Sun, Moon, and Mercury are all in the same degree of your sign, representing one peak moment in the entire retrograde period. Mercury reaches the heart of the Sun and Moon as they meet in Scorpio which signals the halfway point of its retrograde cycle. This Mercury Cazimi moment is rather remarkable for coinciding with the New Moon. This moment may bring significant clarity about what you want, and this New Moon is like a seed form for a powerful rebirth that honors not only your desires but also your body, your values, your creative impulses and where you want to take things in the coming months. The New Moon in your sign is supported by Saturn and Neptune in Pisces along with Jupiter in Cancer while receiving an opposition from Uranus in Taurus inaugurating a powerful reset in your sign. There is a place as well for spiritual commitment; Saturn and Neptune remain in a four-degree conjunction with each other, the midpoint of 27° being closely trine the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio. This brings an unusual opportunity for a mingling of spiritual feelings from beyond the physical and also the practicality of these being brought down to earth and informing the real.

On November 21st, the Sun enters Sagittarius which activates the part of your chart that relates to your values and resources. The Sun coming off of a direct opposition with Uranus implies that internal values which are yours alone and derived intuitively could have lately been in serious flux. Mercury Retrograde is coming off of a strong trine with Neptune in Pisces, and is even foggier than what is normal during this period. The Sun is also sextile to Pluto in Aquarius from the 22nd to the 23rd insuring that the transformational beat will still go on. From the perspective of Sagittarius Season things might look quite a bit different than they did at the starting point of the retrograde.

Venus in Scorpio forms a conjunction with Mercury Retrograde on the 24th, in a simultaneous trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces, stationary in the sky. Venus makes an opposition with Uranus in Taurus that is exact on the 29th before entering Sagittarius on the 30th. This is a sequence that may have become familiar to you from happening, also, this past month as the Sun, Mars and Mercury in Scorpio transited there. Although there are many times you circle around the same question – the answer might not always stay the same; what is being held too tightly must be released to make room for growth and you may have to get out of your comfort zone and try something new before you can really see what you are capable of.

Mercury turns direct in Scorpio on the 29th which may still feel a little bit chaotic as the retrograde symptoms gradually wind down. You might want to keep in mind as you make your plans for next month that you are entering into a new post-retrograde reality by December 16th.
