This is a rather intense month for you. Scorpio, with prominent Pluto remaining a potent factor in your root cellar, and with Mercury still recovering, as September begins, from its recent retrograde in your sector of career and professional life. This has been a time of introspection and meditation on your changing vocational landscape while you are also coming into a new focus on friendships, group affiliations and future goals. The Virgo New Moon of September 2nd promotes these factors and also the higher mind wisdom of your maturing viewpoint after the internal questioning of the recent retrograde period of Mercury through these prominent sectors of your solar chart as indicated by your sign. Your goals all along have included an evolving sense of your own deep principles and values, as you grow. The Pisces Full Moon eclipse of the 17th brings further revelations with attention paid to partnership and fostering a deep dive to the inside where you find your true values lie, while the September Equinox on the 22nd brings to you an even greater sense of interiority as the Sun enters your sector of unconscious process and inner work. This is all grist for your mill as you continue to evolve in both normative outer and mystical inner realms.

The September month begins in the wake of a Mercury Retrograde in the midst of Leo season, which normally gives you an undisputed focus on career objectives and outer world achievement but which in this recent cycle has likely been accompanied by introspection and review, or possibly questioning, your vocational patterns and objectives. Mercury, having stationed to direct motion just before the beginning of the month, is still recovering over its first ten days’ time.
Pluto slips back into Capricorn on September 1st, although still hovering on your domestic sector cusp, so continues in its transformational impact there. You may have been making progress on integrating these changes to your family life or your dwelling space itself, or you may still have a ways to go. Pluto returns to the Aquarius sign on November 19th which might represent a further shift in this cosmic weather that also takes you to the inside. Modern astrology associates Pluto with your sign of Scorpio and it's true that both the planet and the sign have overlapping symbolism.
On September 2nd, the Virgo New Moon lands in your sector of friendships, groups, societal impact, and future goals. This juncture might represent you getting a better understanding of your aims and desires, and the way that these are individual to you, and no-one else. This is a thoughtful time, when you see more clearly into your future vision, along with what inner question marks might be holding you back from going for it full throttle. Changes within you are mirrored in changes outside of yourself that you can see coming.
Mars enters Cancer on the 4th which signals the beginning of an extended period of exploration and a powerful impetus for discovery and for moving beyond the frontiers of what has perhaps become too familiar. Nothing has to be done at this very moment in order to have a richer life except surrender to your desire for more joy, love, connection.
On the 14th and the 15th, Venus in your sector of unconscious process and dream imagination trines Jupiter in your sector of intimacy and personal transformation. This could be an enlightening and essentially lovely time for you, when key relationships could be connected to your night-time dreams, or to inner work that you are engaged in.
The partial lunar eclipse in Pisces on the 17th emphasizes the sector of your chart that relates to creativity, self-expression, and any children that might be in your life. This is the first of a series of eclipses occurring on the Virgo/Pisces axis in the coming year which highlights your role as the writer and producer of your life. If you are experiencing a kind of divine discontent at this time, it could be your cue to let go of narratives that keep you stuck in a mindset that is no longer working for you or where your happiness is reliant on other people showing up in some particular ways.
The Sun enters Libra on the 22nd – marking the September Equinox – which could help clear the way for greater autonomy in the coming weeks and better understanding your own relational dynamics, potentially co-dependent reflexes and your relationship needs. Venus enters your sign on the same day, which could make the task of knowing what you want easier as the month of September comes to a close.
