This is another active month for you, Virgo, with a New Moon in your sign practically as it begins, on the 2nd, giving you fresh energy for your process. Mercury, your ruler, has been retrograde – starting last month in your sign – creating an introspective period of time that has likely lead to much questioning and readjustment. As Mercury moves forward, retracing its zodiacal tracks and recovering from the official retrograde period in its post-retrograde shadow, it travels through your sector of unconscious process, dream imagination, and inner work before coming back into your sign. The unconscious is another area that has been featured in recent weeks and is rewarding, potentially opening you to further realizations from deep inside your psyche. Uranus is also active near the MC of your solar chart, representing intuitional information and unexpected revelations that can guide your evolving belief system and, as well, career choices that could be coming up this month. The Full Moon eclipse of the 17th brings much of this to a head, including a mystical sense of karmic completion involving key partnerships in your life along with your own sense of ongoing depth explorations. Your spiritual and evolutionary progress comes to degree of culmination, although from the ridgetop that has been achieved, new vistas arise.

As the month begins, you are in the aftermath of the rather intense period of your ruler, Mercury, being in retrograde motion for most of the preceding month of August. This has affected you in part in terms of identity questioning and in part with things that are going on deep within your psyche, below the level of your conscious awareness. Mercury is slowly recovering during September’s first week, completely leaving its post-retrograde shadow by the 11th of September.
The New Moon in your sign arrives on the 2nd and represents a fresh start with matters of identity and of better understanding your pathway forward. This is a good opportunity to be deliberate about what you initiate and what you agree to. Saturn in your opposite sign of Pisces is activated, which means that everything is slowed down even more than during the recent Mercury Retrograde. Relationships come into this sense of commitment, perhaps helping yours. There could also be disputes with partners – perhaps seeking resolution in a third point of view. However, as people or situations show their true colors, it could be up to you to decide what you are willing to take on versus what is less than satisfactory. This powerful juncture could bring clarity and stronger personal agency not only to advocate for your needs but also to delineate clearer boundaries with others.
On the 6th, Mercury squares Uranus in Taurus bringing inspiration to your thoughts and attitudes concerning career, beliefs, and worldview. There could be surprising revelations; you benefit from staying open to possibility.
On the 8th, Mercury in Leo is briefly the focal point of a yod, or “finger of god” pattern, with Neptune and Pluto in sextile to each other, before re-entering your sign of Virgo, which may bring up an extreme sensitivity to your ongoing transformational path which is also a visionary one. Numinous Neptune has good authority in the dimensions beyond the physical but can get confused in terms of practicality in the here and now.
Jupiter transiting in Gemini continues to emphasize vocational momentum during the first half of September and gets a boost from Venus from the 13th to the 15th with Venus in Libra – correlated with your resources –forming a trine with the lucky planet that could point towards lucrative opportunities or at least a path towards greater financial or professional autonomy.
The Pisces Full Moon takes place in your relationship sector on September 17th, also a partial eclipse, and the Moon forms a conjunction with Neptune. Partnership events and things in general could perhaps get even more spacey although in a good way. This configuration has the potential to bring new developments in your partnerships and to your life. Saturn still transiting in Pisces is opposed by your ruler, Mercury, which indicates that lessons around commitment and what you require from your partnerships are slow to take hold yet have the potential to bring lasting results. You may be able to get the pulse on how someone really feels about you and yet also realize that old relational dynamics could be hard to let go even if you are not entirely happy. This is the first of several eclipses that take place on the Virgo/Pisces axis until August 2026.
The Sun’s entry into Libra on the 22nd , marking the September Equinox, could help shift your focus towards productive pathways regarding your values, finances, and resources. This ingress is shining a light on your talents and skills – continuing into the coming weeks. What you have learned and mastered becomes a valuable asset when you look at it right. Venus moving into Scorpio on that same day gives you added leverage for getting what you want and need. No point in hiding your light or undervaluing what you have to offer.
