This is a month of going to the inside, Taurus, and also one of transformation. The idea of change might be scary, although the position of no change is called death. The Dylan line is very applicable here – you are either busy being born, or busy dying. One indication of all this is the powerful placement of Trickster Uranus, located in your sign and featured in the recent Pisces New Moon, so that experimentation and intuition are your standbys. This along with a potent presence of Pluto, Lord of Rebirth. Partners as well provide plentiful insights, guiding your way to the extent that you will let them, stimulating a meditation upon your deepest principles and beliefs. You are, in essence, feeling your way forward into a future that more closely aligns with everything that you hold inside, to the exclusion of all other distractions. The days leading up to the March 7th Full Moon might convey the theme of inner wounding raising its head, perhaps in the context of your relationships. A week later, the Quarter Moon of the 14th makes for an intense juncture. When Venus enters your sign on the 16th, this signals a fresh burst of new energy that may find you much altered. In spite of your potential resistance, you must try to keep the change!

The month of March emphasizes your role in your community and the like-minded people who bring inspiration to your table. The New Moon in Pisces that occurred on February 19th and 20th continues to influence the current month and symbolizes an important renewal for your alliances and accomplices. You understand the importance of networking and connecting with others so that your wildest dreams can be supported! You also believe in fostering others toward their own success. You might feel that it gets lonely without community and mutual efforts and collaborations are the fuel that feeds your vision for a better world. You are also perhaps seeing that your sense of identity and your evolving relationship with yourself and with your work depends in part on feelings of interconnectedness and the more spiritual aspects of your nature; your true belief in the oneness of mankind.

The month opens under the beneficial meeting of Venus and Jupiter in Aries, with Chiron, the Wounded Healer, lasting until the 2nd or the 3rd. Venus and Jupiter form a breathtaking conjunction in the Western skies just after sunset. This triple conjunction occurs in the part of your chart that relates to your spiritual inclinations, your unconscious, and the aspects of yourself that tend to get repressed. Venus and Jupiter being joined by Chiron in Aries might bring important insights and reconciliation for the more individualistic and less compromising aspects of your nature. You may be able to acknowledge parts of yourself that are usually less conscious and more hidden from your awareness, that could correspond to ancient wounds long buried. You could begin this monthly cycle focusing on personal advancement rather than prioritizing the needs of others, or also open your heart to what you might be able to discover deep inside. If so, it might feel good to be totally ok with putting your needs first and rather than feel chagrin at inner wounding coming up, you could decide to celebrate that milestone.

On the 2nd also, Mercury in Aquarius meets Saturn just before Saturn enters Pisces which might feel like relief after a difficult intellectual effort. On the 2nd, as well, Mercury enters Pisces so that the next few weeks could bring more social ease and greater flow for interacting with others.

The Virgo Full Moon culminates on March 7th in the area of your chart that has to do with creativity, pleasure, self-expression, and more extensively your children. Anything you create and put out in the world can be considered your progeny and this Full Moon could illuminate your creative work in a striking way. You may be able to take stock of the significant advancements you have made this past year. Uranus in your sign forms a trine with the Full Moon highlighting the striking ways in which your works and your self-expression stand out from the crowd. You might be able to appreciate more consciously the uniqueness of your work and your perspectives at this time, and there could also be surprise events or realizations that contribute to your sense of self.

Saturn enters Pisces a few hours after the Full Moon and will spend the next two years gradually emphasizing a need you may feel to refine or clarify your purpose. You can also feel as though a particular community or goal no longer serves your current needs as society undergoes important cultural transformations.

During the third week of March, centered on the 14th, Mars forms a square with Mercury, the Sun, and Neptune in Pisces which can blur the lines between group think versus personal values mid-month. You may desire more autonomy for yourself and the freedom to do as you please but you might be bound to your social responsibilities or a long-term objective that keeps you from making an impulsive move at this time.

On the 15th through the 17th, Venus in Aries forms a square with Pluto in Capricorn while entering your sign, and this may highlight ideological tension or frustration related to your social or career life. On the 16th, Venus’s entry into Taurus bodes well for taking a more diplomatic approach with others in the coming weeks.

Mercury enters Aries on the 18th and the Sun follows suit on the 20th which represents the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

The New Moon in Aries arriving on the 21st signals a more introspective period when you could be compelled to take stock of the past year in preparation for the Sun’s entry into Taurus in a month from now. An Aries lineup of planets in your sector of unconscious process and inner work presages that you will spend time looking under the covers of your psyche for hidden areas that can run your decision process from below, as it were. You are also investing some energy into your relationships now in search for better understanding of what lies within you. Your nighttime dreams could be very informative for you now concerning this interior awareness that you are developing. Releasing old patterns could be helpful at this time and striving to be more aware of the process of change going on within you.

One of the most important ingresses of the year occurs when Pluto leaves Capricorn for Aquarius on the 23rd. Pluto will spend the next 20 years transiting in the part of your chart that relates to your ambitions, your career, and your public persona. During this period, you could be called upon to renew yourself and the previous patterns of your professional life. You may discover a sense of serious purpose, causing you to change the expression of your career in a way that more fully expresses your deeper mission in life, which you might have only become aware of during this time.

The last week of March features a dynamic First Quarter Moon on the 28th that emphasizes communications of both an external and an internal nature. Surprises continue to abound and the question becomes what can you learn from these unexpected events? With Pluto newly arrived into Aquarius and sitting at the very top of your chart, your career responsibilities are in transition, while relationships provide an interesting counterpoint that take you closer to the heart of the matter. Inner and outer concerns are both very present in this ending to the month, and reflect each other, two sides of the very same coin.

Mars, representing partners, enters the sign of Cancer after an eight-month cycle in the sign of Gemini carrying his emphasis from the resources and value sector of your chart into the communication and idea sector. An interesting and also limiting trine forms between Mars and Saturn, newly in Cancer, which brings important traction for public speaking or sharing your ideas more broadly with an audience. Venus, your ruler, is also conjunct with Uranus in your sign, which may give you the perfect balance of innovation and charm at this time.
