This is a significant month for you, Gemini, in a series of significant months, when you are attempting to see your way clear to your next developmental stage. The recent Leo New Moon of July 28th has set the scene for an increase in learning and communication that takes deep intuitional information as its main currency. It is possible that inner wounding could emerge, perhaps stemming from unresolved trauma of early childhood. You are very invested now in getting to the truth of your situation, to the extent that you can fully understand it. There is a remarkable optimism that you possess about future developments, and manifesting something that has productive impact for the collective that surrounds you. After the very beginning of the month, Mercury, your ruler, travels through your sector of home and family, so that concerns there, and related to your psychological root, become your focus. You are engaged in acting upon your deepest principles as you decide what steps to take to become a closer approximation to who, at base, you really are.

The recent Leo New Moon, from July 28th, set the stage for the thirty-day lunation cycle that takes up most of the current month. This brought a fresh wave of inspiration to your communication sector. August therefore has for you the energy of conversation, writing, and mental exploration. Your intuition, operating below the level of conscious awareness, is also strong. You might be preoccupied with translating what you have been learning into more digestible formats or finding ways to apply broad concepts to your everyday life. You could feel emboldened by a vision of success and be hard at work towards the realization of your dreams. Jupiter in Aries forming a trine aspect to the New Moon brings a promise of support from your community. It might be easier to find your place in the world this month and others could be seeking your wise counsel.
On August 1st and 2nd, the action planet Mars perfects its meet up with Uranus and the North Node in the sign of Taurus, corresponding to your sector of unconscious process and dream imagination. This is quite a dynamic configuration and colors your month. You could feel a certain amount of restlessness that is hard to pinpoint and you may have to take time off to regroup. Hidden tension could manifest for you, especially if you’ve been trying to ignore stressful factors or have been putting too much pressure on you to succeed. Don’t underestimate the benefit of taking time off to depressurize. You might need to disconnect from the busyness of your everyday life and it is your right to do just that.
Messenger planet Mercury, your ruler, enters Virgo on the 4th, which may bring the need to refocus more of your attention on your family and your home life. You could also start to feel more introspective and it may be easier to prioritize your wellbeing.
With Venus transiting in the part of your chart that relates to your material security, your desire to make more money – and also spend it – could be emphasized. You may feel that you need more financial security to be comfortable which in turn could push you to work harder.
On the 6th through 8th, during the first weekend of the month, Mars in Taurus square Saturn may continue to emphasize hard work that you feel you must do. You could have good reasons for working that hard but there may also be hidden fears around your sense of security that compels you to keep more busy than is really necessary. Group dynamics might also play a part in this.
The Aquarius Full Moon culminates on August 11th in the part of your chart that relates to worldview, learning, and teaching. The Full Moon conjuncts Saturn there, which could help you take stock of how far you’ve come and how committed you might be to further educational experiences, both in and out of school. You could feel a sense of mastery over a particular topic although the Full Moon is also squaring Uranus, perhaps bringing a sense that there is always more to learn. There also might be unexpected events in this area of your life. You may be at a crossroad in terms of what you are trying to achieve in the world versus your need for more tranquility. You could feel these sorts of paradoxical desires more strongly right now, especially if you are not totally aligned with your more profound desires.
Mars enters your sign on the 20th where it will be spending the next seven months helping you get in touch with what you really want while also supporting more direct approaches towards your goals. Mars spends an exceptionally long time in Gemini due to its retrograde motion beginning in the final months of the year. This transit could bring a reorientation process that will perhaps be somewhat difficult, but well worth it in the long run. You could be coming into greater alignment around the end of the year with your prospects and objectives as well as what you do on a day-to-day basis. As for the rest of this current month, Mars’ entry into Gemini will also bring attention to your immediate desires and your personal needs.
Mercury in Virgo, corresponding to your sector of home and psychological roots, opposes Neptune in Pisces, or your career sector, on the 20th through the 22nd while also forming a trine with Pluto in Capricorn from the 21st to the 23rd. Even though you may be very invested in your work, it may be hard to get clear on your objectives at this time. Issues of pubic versus private could come up. The Sun’s entry into the sign of Virgo on the 23rd will continue to bring attention to your home, your family and your domestic life.
On the 25th Mercury enters Libra. This could, for its part, increase your desire to get creative and have fun. Mercury will also retrograde in this, your self-expression sector, beginning on September 9th, which could usher in a time of questioning the basis for this life factor and how you manifest it.
As the month starts to come to its close, the Virgo New Moon on the 27th brings as well fresh energy for your home life. Your desire to be at home or focus on what you love could take precedence over your need for external validation at this time, but it might be hard to get rid of that feeling of responsibility. You might have to let go of the pressure and just make peace with the fact that you can’t do it all.
