The astrological month of January begins with a New Moon in Capricorn on the 2nd, which signals the beginning of a new cycle for your intimate and business partnerships. The New Moon is supported by a trine from Uranus in Taurus which may highlight the benefits that come from stepping away from your work routine to nurture your inner reality and address built up tension. You could be more preoccupied with your private life and it’s a good time to focus on the support and safety offered by others. You may realize this month that in order to accomplish your ambitious visions in the coming year, you will need the backup of your important partnerships to succeed.

An educational path may also be highlighted at the beginning of the month as planet Mercury enters the sign of Aquarius. Teaching, education or travel could be on your mind but Mercury stationing retrograde mid-January means that you may have to re-evaluate the costs or energy investment of a particular trajectory.

Jupiter is now transiting in Pisces for the next four and a half months which may bring momentum and new opportunities for growth in your career sector. However, you may have to be more deliberate about your time and energy investments to ensure you do not burn out.
