This is an important month for you, Sagittarius, when you are learning more about yourself and transforming in your societal impact. The Solar Eclipse in your sign of December 3rd and 4th features significant self-development on the inside; you are exploring in a big way your inner places and your values. These drive you more than you are perhaps willing to acknowledge, and represent a powerful factor in your current changes. As the month continues to unfold, your connection deepens to friends, groups you favor, and society in general. You are morphing in the direction of greater connection to the collective along with concepts of service to others. This continues getting stronger through to the weekend of the 18th and 19th, with another peak on Christmas Day. You are exploring aspects of your own inner world and of your partnership dynamics. It is likely that inner wounding will be a significant part of this equation, more so when treated as an opening for healing. You benefit enormously in this difficult month from your ability to stay as open as you can to the healing possibilities in everything that is going on around and through you.

The Sagittarius Solar Eclipse New Moon takes place in your sign late on December 3rd, or early morning of the 4th, and this is an important lunation for you, signaling new beginnings this month as well as changes to your self-concept. Surprising events can lead the way to novel realizations providing you can stay open to the information. Because this significant event leads off the December month, this is likely to be a time when both external changes in the outer world of career and profession as well as internal development will be the story. This is also the last of a series of eclipses that occurred in your sign over the past 18 months This Solar Eclipse may bring an opportunity for a deeper reset as a broader sense of perspective starts emerging. You may have experienced an unusual amount of limitations in the past two years which may have put a damper on your natural optimism. However, the beginning of December could bring a renewed sense of faith and the opportunity to start integrating the changes that have occurred in your life.
From the 5th to the 7th, Mars sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and squares Jupiter in Aquarius on the 7th and 8th. This may bring the motivation you need to get things done. Mercury in Sagittarius also squaring Neptune in Pisces on the 7th however could highlight an underlying fog that confuses things. Distractions abound and you may have to make a conscious effort to stay on the tasks at hand.
Venus conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn from the 8th to the 28th, an extra-long period of time due to the Venus retrograde within a degree of the Pluto position. This is therefore an aspect that will be more or less exact for the whole month of December, and occurs in the part of your chart that relates to your sense of self-worth, your values, your resources and material reality. Fluctuations in finances, if they occur, might be the springboard for a transformation of values. A process of refinement related to these themes could be underway as Venus prepares to station retrograde later this month after the Full Moon. Some of the big ideas you have in the works might require a reshuffling of priorities before you can execute them. You could for example need to let go of a financial trajectory that is too costly or purge what you own to make space for a new project. You may also become increasingly aware in the following months, of unnecessary commitments or any self-defeating patterns that are limiting your progress.
Mars enters Sagittarius on the 13th and Mercury enters Capricorn the same day. Mars in Sagittarius until the later part of January could feel energizing and help you get more physical exercise in.
The Gemini Full Moon culminates on the 18th, taking place in your opposite sign and thus shining a light on partnerships with the important people in your life. The third weekend of the month is a busy one. There is an emphasis on your own self-development vis a vis the needs of others, and there could be significant conversations or negotiations taking place around this time. Mercury in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries just as it stations direct, exact on the 19th, which may bring sensitive topics or early wounding to the surface for the opportunity of healing these issues. You may have the opportunity to speak more openly about an issue that has been bothering you, and if so, it's a good timing as Jupiter in Aquarius lends a supportive influence. It may be easier to convey your message without things getting overly emotional. Venus stations retrograde the next day as well, still tightly conjunct Pluto in Capricorn and on her way to be reborn as a morning star. Venus will be retrograde in an important sector of your chart until the end of January 2022 bringing a period of revision for all Venusian matters such as love, money, relationships, aesthetics and beauty.
The Sun enters Capricorn on the 21st of December which brings the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. This event marks a crucial turning point for the year ahead, with Capricorn the busiest sign in the configuration. All this action is taking place in the part of your chart that relates to your resources and it may be a good time to take stock as you head into the new year.
The third and final square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus takes place from the 18th to the 26th, exact on the 23rd. This square between mythological Chronos and Prometheus has colored the entirety of 2021, symbolizing the strong tension between the old and the new that has been in the headlines and that also applies to you as an individual. On a personal level, this influence may have brought the need to structure your ideas and projects in a more practical way so that you can accomplish everything that you set out to do. You have to strike a balance between a conservative holding back and the urge to swing for the fences. Balancing the changes you want to make with the existing structure in your life continues to be a work in progress.
Jupiter, planet of expansion and fertility, and your sign’s ruler, enters Pisces on the 29th, at nearly the end of December where it will spend the next four months gracing your sector of home and family. The Moon is also in your sign to ring in the New Year which may have you feeling a little emotional as the year comes to a close. Heading into the New Year you will likely have more enthusiasm for things related to your family, or renovations and real estate. You will also be filled with new visions and wishes for what lies ahead. A project that began this past summer may gain traction in the first half of 2022.
