This is another quite interesting month for you, Sagittarius, due to the lunation configurations that you will encounter, following the entirely dramatic ones of the recent past. The mid-August Solar Eclipse celebrated your ninth sector of Higher Mind, where we found not only the eclipse Sun and Moon, but also Mercury, and Jupiter, your ruler, located there and closely trine the Neptune/Saturn midpoint in your creativity sector. You are living out the final ten days of this Leo lunation cycle in the current month, with its emphasis on philosophical speculation and the lessons of introspection. Neptune with Saturn is an interesting aspect with overtones of an all-or-nothing approach to questions of principles or politics. In a way, this is a factor we may all be susceptible to, and that we might need to ameliorate rather than embrace. The reverse strategy of inclusivity has also its value. With Mercury in this configuration opposite Pluto, there has also been a chance for a thoughtful approach to the transformation in communication and learning that the Pluto in Aquarius era implies for Sagittarians. The recent Lunar Eclipse – just before September began – featured Mercury again, now conjunct the eclipse Sun degree of nearly 5° of Virgo in your vocational sector, so that the thoughtful and constructive approach that you have hopefully been cultivating applies, as September gets going, to your public statement. The Virgo New Moon of the 10th has additional key astrological impacts to meld with these previous indications, in that Jupiter is now in exact semi-square with Mercury at 0° Libra, located in your eleventh sector of friendship, social groupings, and future goals. An even more thoughtfully comprehensive approach is now your ticket. Mercury lies in partile aspect with that sector’s ruler, Venus, which is in your sector of unconscious process. However you slice it, a more global and gestalt visualization and understanding of what you are up to will take you closer to where you want to be heading.

Mars Sextile Mercury and Aspecting Jupiter + Saturn – Sept 1st
As Mars in Cancer sextiles Mercury in Virgo, you may make sound financial decisions or receive money from others, which may positively impact your public status or career. An honest conversation with a boss could also be a benefit. Mars also aspects Jupiter and Saturn. You may feel driven to find meaning and expansion, while oddly deciding to be happy or positive at the same time.
Venus Opposite Chiron – September 7th - 12th
Venus moving through your hidden twelfth sector may put you in the mood for seclusion, privacy, or doing things you enjoy in solitude. You could crave more time away from the demands of everyday life or find comfort in activities that help you unwind. Chiron in your sixth sector of daily duties and work could also expose sensitivities around your ability to be productive. It may be wise to pay special attention to whether your work ethic or a project has begun to take a toll on your wellbeing.
The New Moon in Virgo – September 10th
The Virgo New Moon falls in your tenth sector of career, achievement, and public direction, potentially opening a new chapter around what you want to accomplish or be known for. With Mercury, its ruler, in your eleventh sector of networks, collective goals, and the people who support your ambitions, your professional plans could be shaped by the connections you’re making or the future you’re trying to build alongside others. Mercury’s opposition to Neptune complexifies this and brings in a spiritual or a mystical dimension. Potential idealism or even illusion – as represented by Neptune – could make it more difficult to balance your ambitions with your desire for personal fulfillment, romance, or creative expression. You might feel pulled between what you’re trying to accomplish long-term and what feels meaningful or enjoyable in the present moment. Mercury is additionally trine to both Uranus and Pluto, and this could bring movement through important relationships and communication. Uranus may coincide with an unexpected development involving a partner or collaborator, while Pluto could deepen your thinking around your ongoing transformation in communications and learning, potentially changing how you understand your customary habits or immediate environment. The Sun and Moon are additionally sextile Mars, and this could give you the motivation to address shared finances or emotional entanglements that have a bearing on your professional plans. Venus, newly in Scorpio, adds another layer by bringing deeper desires and private emotional needs into this equation. You may realize that what you want publicly isn’t necessarily the same as what feels fulfilling in your private spaces behind closed doors.
Mercury Opposite Neptune + Trine Pluto – September 11th - 13th
You could become very mentally focused on your future, especially when new people or collaborations seem to open exciting possibilities. Neptune’s opposition to Mercury can make conversations, agreements, or even new friendships difficult to interpret clearly, while getting swept up in a group’s vision may blur your own creative direction. Mercury’s trine to Pluto could help you investigate what’s being said more deeply and recognize what may be hiding beneath the surface.
Mercury Trine Uranus – September 12th - 14th
An abrupt development in a relationship could change the way you think about your future as Mercury trines Uranus. Someone may introduce a new idea, opportunity, or perspective that expands what you imagine is possible for yourself. Uranus can bring exciting new connections, and yet it can also disrupt existing dynamics; a change in a partnership may require you to rethink where you’re headed.
Mercury Opposite Saturn – September 16th - 18th
Your hopes for the future could feel less carefree as Mercury opposes Saturn, particularly when responsibilities around romance, creativity, or pleasure complicate what you want. You might find yourself thinking more seriously about whether your social life and long-term goals actually leave room for enjoyment. A reality check could encourage you to be more intentional about what you pursue and where you invest your energy.
Mercury Sextile Jupiter – September 19th - September 22nd
Mercury in sextile with Jupiter could bring encouraging conversations with friends or your wider community that open you up to new possibilities. Someone could introduce an idea, opportunity, or experience that expands your horizons, perhaps inspiring you to pursue something you’ve been curious about. You may find it easier to share your aspirations and feel supported in thinking bigger about the future.
Libra Equinox – September 22nd
A positive sense of possibility can grow as the Sun enters your eleventh sector of hopes and dreams! You may feel empowered to go after important goals, especially when you have people around you who share or support your vision. The Libran energy brings cooperation into the picture and furthers the theme of collaboration – making this the perfect time to work with others.
Sun Opposite Neptune + Trine Pluto – September 23rd - 27th
Your friendships and larger social world could become harder to navigate as the Sun opposes Neptune, particularly if romance, pleasure, or self-expression are pulling you in another direction. You might idealize a friend or group or find yourself compromising what you enjoy in order to belong. As you focus more closely on your social world, Pluto could intensify changes in how you communicate, think, or interpret information, potentially transforming the way you express your ideas.
Full Moon in Aries – September 26th
This Aries Full Moon could bring your desires into sharper focus, particularly around what you actually enjoy and what you want more room for in your life. Something involving romance, recreation, creative expression, or your relationship with a child could reach an emotional turning point in the timing of this powerful lunation. With Neptune closely conjunct the Moon, a mystical component may enter, or you may feel emotionally overwhelmed by whatever you want or idealize. A romantic or creative possibility might unexpectedly pop up. Saturn is highlighted in Aries as well, and adds a more serious note, asking you to consider what you are truly willing to commit to in terms of communal results from your creativity. The Full Moon’s ruler, Mars, lies in your eighth sector of intimacy, depth psychological research, and partnership, tying these desires to deeper emotional or partnership entanglements. You may also be confronting a psychological shadow or hidden part of yourself, with rebirth coming through the willingness to face something usually kept private. Mars has also a square to Chiron, which could make you especially sensitive to hidden unconscious contents that it might be high time to expose to the light of conscious awareness. At the same time, the Sun trines both Pluto and Uranus, and this could bring new and perhaps revolutionary developments through your wider social world, communication with others, and your relationship dynamic. A sea change may be shaping up within an important partnership.
Mars Enters Leo – September 27th
You may feel a stronger appetite for adventure as Mars moves through Leo, pushing you toward experiences that challenge your perspective and expand your world! The trine to your ascendant can give you extra confidence to take risks, pursue an education, travel somewhere new, or speak boldly about what you believe. Just watch for impatience when others challenge your views or plans change unexpectedly.
Mercury Enters Scorpio – September 30th
Vivid dreams, old memories, or lingering feelings could become more noticeable as Mercury moves through Scorpio. You may feel compelled to understand something from your past, particularly experiences that still influence how you think or feel today. Writing, dreamwork, or private research could help you process what’s difficult to articulate, while Scorpio’s influence may make this a powerful time for uncovering patterns you hadn't fully recognized before.
