This is a very special month, Gemini, of inspiration, inner knowing, and eventual educational frustration. You are going from a previous lunation cycle of novel situations and surprise sudden enlightenment (due to prominent Uranus) which covers also the September month’s first ten days, to a much more potentially painful set of inputs surrounding the Virgo New Moon of September 10th. These also however provide much-needed lessons as you switch your footing to deal with them. That life has its ups and downs need not be an unpleasant or particularly surprising idea, especially if you can remember that while the good times bring the most pleasant memories, the difficult ones beneficially bring the longest-lasting lessons; we are here on this beleaguered planet – why? Well, ultimately, to learn. The position of Mercury, your ruler, in the September 10th Virgo New Moon – which itself is angular to your sign – is telling. This potent lunation features Mercury at 0° Libra, or your self-expression sector, in partile or same-degree inconjunct (quincunx) with Chiron at 0° Taurus, with both ruled by Venus. The relationship planet is thus prominent in this dramatic New Moon, and found at 0° Scorpio, precisely opposed to Chiron; and the Wounded Healer is additionally located in your twelfth solar sector of dream imagination, unconscious process, and inner work. Taken on the difficult side, this could result in inner complexes coming to light, perhaps in ways that important others in your life help to uncover. Buried anger, for one example, may have the tendency to explode, and – in the happiest of outcomes – to remind you that you are never angry for the reason that you think you are. This latter notion is the key which your accelerated understanding has the chance to turn in the lock of these repressed emotions that need so desperately to constructively come to the surface of your more conscious attention. This represents the upside of these potentially disturbing events and realizations that you might be in the process of more fully exploring as the second two-thirds of the September month continues to unfold.
