May is a huge month of aspirational growth as well as self-redefinition, inside and out, for you, Gemini. The month begins in the glow of the fiery New Moon that took place earlier on April 17th, featuring a wild Aries stellium that intensely activated your aspirations, goals, and community support. The dreams you experience both in your waking life and in your slumber are beckoning your attention in this late April-early May timing. With Uranus just having moved into your sign on April 25th, you're entering a new multi-year era of re-invention and stepping into a fuller expression of your own brilliance. The Scorpio Full Moon of May 1st stirs the deeper layers of what thoughts and habits inform your moment-to-moment experience, and with your ruling planet Mercury conjunct Chiron, you may be coming to terms with some aspect of your wounding, as well as new modes of healing and belief that empower and energize you. Mid-month, the New Moon in Taurus and Mercury Cazimi shine a light into your subconscious, revealing hidden facets of your own inner workings. A few days later, both Mercury and the Sun enter your own sign (happy birthday season!) and each conjunct Uranus, bringing along some wild surprises and unexpected turns. Events and insights during this time may ruffle some feathers, yet they also invite you into newfound freedom, and to sit more firmly in the driver's seat of your own life direction. The month closes with a Full Moon in Sagittarius on the 31st, illuminating your relational realms and partnership orientation, and pointing the way forward as your evolutionary unfolding continues.

Previous New Moon in late Aries – April 17th
Through the first half of May, the late Aries New Moon continues to activate your eleventh sector of community and goals for the future as well as influencing your twelfth sector of unconscious material, spiritual health, and inner work. You may be gaining clarity around how your networks are developing and possibly in need of change, along with how your subconscious mind and spiritual accords are affecting you. The huge Aries stellium in this New Moon has been giving you plenty of energy for these ideas over the last couple of weeks, and in particular, as well, the strong Chiron presence, in conjunction with Eris, and with the Sun and Moon, may allow you to dwell on inner wounding stemming from the ancient past when early childhood trauma may have caused this type of hidden complex, buried deep within your psyche, to lodge behind barriers of unconscious process. If such complexes exist and do choose to come to light, this can be a good time to unearth them, so to speak, and to treat them with a dose of recognition, acceptance, and love. Taking new steps that reflect this renewal can feel aligned as the first two weeks of the month continue to unfold.

Full Moon in Scorpio – May 1st
This Scorpio Full Moon highlights your sixth sector of daily duties, workplace, and health. You may notice how some of your day-to-day assumed tasks and habitual routines might need adjusting. Pluto’s square to Sun and Moon, intensified by its upcoming station to retrograde motion few days away, can reveal power-plays with coworkers and the people you choose to align with or to serve – secrets and undercurrent emotions may also one way of another come to light. Only a few times a year, the Mercury Cazimi occurs as Mercury enters “the heart of the Sun.” This morning, Mercury completely aligns with the Sun in Taurus – within your twelfth sector of self-undoing and restriction. Helpful insight around your most self-harming subconscious habits can be revealed, a new way to connect with your spiritual self can come online, or perhaps you gain some much-needed clarity around your relationship with rest! It’s more likely you’ll experience a revelation or clarifying moment during your alone time, in solitude.

New Moon in Taurus – May 16th

Overall, this lunation can greatly assist you in working through self-harming habits – and you may feel it’s time to start learning new and helpful tools to assist you through this inner work journey.

Mercury Enters Gemini and Conjuncts Uranus – May 17th
Your ruler, Mercury, joyously enters its domicile sign of Gemini – beginning a three-week long journey through the most sensitive sector of your chart; your first sector of identity, personal perspective, and new ventures! You may be highly focused on yourself at this time, busy self-analyzing and exploring new endeavors that feel true to who you are. Mercurial subjects such as writing, learning, and socializing can also strike your fancy. Plus, for the first few days of this ingress, Mercury conjuncts Uranus! Wild revelations can shift your perspective of self – which can easily lead you to wanting to begin things that you have never considered before! Outside circumstances could be a bit shocking, and those shocks can contribute to your identity shifting.

As Mars enters Taurus and your twelfth sector of restriction, seclusion, and spiritual wellness, Venus also switches signs – into Cancer and your second sector of personal worth and possessions. These two personal planets are sextile to each other, assisting you in enhancing your self-worth by cutting away self-harming habits. You could also feel especially passionate about helping those in need, which also increases your value. Monetizing and earning from “behind the scenes” could also be a manifestation of this transit.

Sun Enters Gemini and Conjuncts Uranus – May 20th
When the Sun enters your sign, Gemini, your developing identity, outlook, and appearance comes further into conscious focus. This confidence-boosting solar energy can help you express your talents and leadership ability, making “being seen” a more comfortable experience. You may feel you are more in touch with who you are and what you bring to the table of life! Also, the Sun will conjunct Uranus for the first few days of Gemini Season – potentially unlocking a whole new level of self-assurance and excitement around who you are becoming. This may feel temporarily destabilizing, as unexpected events continue to occur – likely shifting how you want to be seen or recognized!

Mars Square Pluto + Sun Trine Pluto – May 23rd-26th
Both the Sun and Mars aspect Pluto over these few days. On one level, you could be going through a profoundly spiritual transformation as you’re likely to be deepening your beliefs and getting in touch with your inner truth. At the same time, you may be witnessing the darker side of the outside world, possibly finding it mentally stressful or spiritually taxing. Or you could be struggling to enjoy your solitude, and that makes it harder to connect with your spiritual practices. There is a lesson in harnessing the power of vulnerability with these aspects, and it may be beneficial to make necessary adjustments for the sake of your spiritual health.

Venus Square Saturn – May 27th-29th
As Venus squares Saturn, devoting your time to your long-term goals could take precedence over earning money. Collaborating or taking part in humanitarian activities could also become more important at this time. A friendship could also take a less than ideal turn, as you may come to recognize that this friend doesn’t support your dreams or make you feel worthy of what you have. By committing to the friends who support you, the causes that have a positive collective effect, and by working towards a main objective – you are connecting with the part of your worth that has nothing to do with the money in your bank account!

Full Moon in Sagittarius – May 31st
The potentially exciting and expanding Full Moon in Sagittarius forms in your seventh sector of important one-on-one relationships. This sector is also known as being about open enemies and relating to others in general. Issues of self and other could very likely arise. While the Gemini Season Sun has been directing your attention toward your personal motivations and independent ventures, this lunation highlights the importance of additionally getting along with others in your circle, compromising with partners, or potentially considering how you affect others. It’s a good time to assess if relationships feel balanced, and partnership issues can become more obvious. Since this Full Moon aspects Pluto and Saturn, while forming an opposition to Uranus, a sudden transformation to a relationship might transpire, and yet this can help you solidify your beliefs and the identity you’re currently leaning toward morphing into.
