Sagittarius Horoscope for July 2025

This is another in a series of months of intensity and change, Sagittarius, based on multiple outer planet connections within the recent Cancer New Moon from near the end of the previous month that governs the first three weeks of this current one. This Cancer New Moon landed in your sector of intimacy, personal evolution, and partnership agreements, bringing transformation to your relationship dynamic in general, and featured Jupiter, your ruler, conjunct the Sun and Moon within a degree. Jupiter is also inconjunct Pluto in Aquarius, plus sextile Mars at 4° of Virgo, creating a yod formation to Pluto, while there is another yod focalized on passionate Mars. Also featured is the close Saturn-Neptune conjunction in the early degrees of Aries, or your sector of creative self-expression, joy, and romance. This is quite a potent head start with creativity, romance, and intimacy thus highlighted for a wild and wooly July month. The Capricorn Full Moon in of July 10th brings up further issues of self and other, and features both Venus and Uranus in your opposite sign of Gemini – indicating novel connections with key partnerships, as the picture of your relationship connections continues to morph. On the 17th, the Last Quarter Moon in Aries marks another significant juncture, with the Moon conjunct Eris and Chiron, and with Mercury stationing at 15° of Leo, your sector of higher mind, indicating an introspective period of time when you may find yourself questioning your beliefs and worldview. Mercury’s span of backward motion lasts beyond the end of July and ten days into August, followed by the two-week post-retrograde shadow period when Mercury is recovering, and represents a chance to realign with your most sincere inner principles and values.

The recent New Moon in Cancer from the last full week of June has set the tone for July, its cycle stretching into the upcoming weeks with a major focus on your eighth sector of intimacy and personal evolution. You could consider this as an invitation from the cosmos to take a deep dive into its themes, plumbing your own internal depths for what you hold deep inside. This could include looking at emotional or energetic entanglements, agreements that require you to be vulnerable, jointly held resources, or trust, and shared spaces. As your ruling planet Jupiter is therefore greatly emphasized in the Cancer sign, where Jupiter is additionally exalted, this month could see you amplify your understanding of what you are up to in this important area. There is the potential for an exploration of promises made, or commitment to a partner as a sacred, meaningful bond. Compensation, inheritance, and long-term plans may become more apparent. On the 2nd, the First Quarter Moon arrives in Libra, emphasizing your friends and community circles while producing a degree of tension within intimate unions, so you might be mindful of the way that social situations impact your close relationships and the deeper commitment to yourself. The ruler of Libra, Venus is with Uranus on the edge of your opposite sign of Gemini, so that partnership are further emphasized and subject to surprise twists. Venus enters Gemini on the 4th, your relationship sector, which could fare well for working with partners at a more personal or intimate level. Uranus enters Gemini on the 7th, so that Venus and Uranus sync with Saturn and Neptune in a sextile, and form a trine to Pluto in Aquarius, in one consequential aspect pattern. Your partnership sector being lit up in this way could be consequential, focusing additional attention there and finding unexpected novelty as well in that process. This could affect in a transformational way your sector of siblings, neighbors, close contacts and communication skills, where Pluto resides, and, as well, your creativity sector as represented by Aries. You could find a demonstration of responsibility directed towards what you might celebrate, love or cherish, with attention on significant others, or else taking a formal yet inspired approach to your kids, passion projects or performance. With Saturn in Aries at a standstill, because getting ready to retrograde, you’re perhaps guided to be aware in matters of the heart, to attempt to become more mature about dating, or taking pleasure, You may be looking to deepen collaborations, and this may be a time to appreciate your role, and the progress made. There’s perhaps a firming up of your creative expression that becomes apparent, as Saturn prepares to retrograde – a re-strategizing ahead, with hard work or discipline called for in your approach to entertaining, creating, or projects you have birthed.

The Last Quarter Moon in Aries occurs on the 17th, during which time Mercury is also stationing retrograde in Leo, with a sextile to Venus. This Full Moon comes loaded with outer planet aspects that could indicate another perhaps difficult time of evolutionary change. You are morphing from within and responsive to the introspective period of the Mercury Retrograde period of time while doing so. You could be motivated to draw on your love life, relationships, and connection to others, which is also currently a moving target. The New Moon trines Saturn and Neptune, sextiles Uranus, and opposes Pluto, so reflecting another rather potent dynamic that references your path of personal development and projects that build on your hobbies, passions or sense of personal joy. You might find that you struggle to reconcile totally different perspectives. With Venus square Mars in the New Moon, it might also be challenging gaining recognition in a practical sense.
