This is a month of thoughtful communication, Virgo, in connection with musings on career and a deeper sense of your own identity. In the wake of last month’s eclipse in your sector of higher mind, you are perhaps finding now approaches to old truths. You are somewhat introspective this month, and benefit from seeing the essential value of this more internal viewpoint. Your feeling of who you really are in terms of career is up for you this month, as you attempt to align your private principles with your public persona. Home and family concerns are paramount, potentially including issues of family of origin, although these can be treated with a lighter touch than you might have expected since you have a way right now of keeping everything in perspective. The December 7th Full Moon is quite powerful for you, blending passion and productivity, interior musings with concrete action out in the world, and a blend of private and public concerns. As the rest of the month continues to unfold, your creativity is off the charts. Centering into yourself, you are decidedly practical and bringing your own unique values into play with all of your decisions.

The Sagittarius New Moon from November 23rd signaled a new cycle in your domestic sector lasting for the first three weeks of December. Matters of home and family might therefore arise to include remodeling or changing up your dwelling space, investigating your current household dynamics, or possibly issues stemming from your family of origin. Due to an emphasized presence of Jupiter in this New Moon, a supportive influence could be rolling in that is helping you look at your current situation with new eyes.

Your attitude has a lot to do with what may be unfolding in your life and it might simply start to feel easier to look on the bright side. The Sun and Moon, plus Mercury and Venus, are all transiting in Sagittarius in this New Moon, which could be emphasizing a desire for movement and adventures. Jupiter, quite still in the sky, stationing to direct motion in your partnership sector in this New Moon, could be highlighting your desire for good faith and joy to permeate your relationships with others for the next three weeks of the remaining lunation cycle. Overall the month of December should be a productive one that helps you take greater ownership of your personal happiness and provides clarifications as to what others are willing to bring to your table.

On the 3rd, Neptune stations direct in Pisces which can produce a scattering influence during the first weekend of the month. Getting your things in order at home, at work, and in your life, in general, could be on your mind. However, you might feel pulled in too many directions at once to really focus on one task. In this weekend also, Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius are squaring Neptune in Pisces while forming an opposition to Mars retrograde in Gemini. This may create some confusion or idealization as to what you want and what you are getting from others. A situation related to a family member or a career path could be weighing on your mind but it may feel like there's nothing you can do for the time being.

Mercury enters Capricorn on the 6th which in the weeks ahead will gradually emphasize your creative life and what you are passionate about. Mercury will be in the sign of Capricorn until mid-February due to its retrograde motion beginning at the end of December, ultimately helping you to streamline your processes in order to feel more productive.

The Full Moon takes place in Gemini and culminates on December 7th while forming an extremely close conjunction with Mars retrograde. This moment of illumination could clarify what it is that you want especially in relation to your career or your public life. Your ambitions and your desire to succeed may come up in a big way at this time and you may not let anything stand in your way. Some form of acknowledgment for your work, your skills, and your talents could bring the confidence that you need to keep going. You might feel a certain amount of apprehension between your more personal needs and your overarching goals but this Full Moon could help you see things more clearly and as you proceed forward.

Venus enters Capricorn on the 9th, joining Mercury already transiting in your creative sector. You may regain your enthusiasm and inspiration for creative projects in the coming weeks. A certain amount of discipline could be needed but that shouldn’t be too hard if you focus on what you love to do the most.

From the 13th to the 15th, The Sun in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces which is worth mentioning as discernment may be needed at this time. Your intuition and your mind might be battling against each other and you may feel confused as to what you should prioritize. You can have difficulty focusing on just one thing but prioritizing what you have control over could help you get the ball rolling and get things done.

Jupiter re-enters the Fire sign of Aries on the 20th (where he had formerly been transiting until late October) highlighting once more the important agreements and contacts you have with others. There could be a shift during the entire week of December 19th that helps you realign with a process that had begun earlier this year.

The Sun enters Capricorn on the 21st which signals the Solstice and in the Northern Hemisphere winter. This is a powerful time, and along with the upcoming New Moon in Capricorn signals greater abundance of enthusiasm for romance, creative projects, or your children, and for intimate partners also.

The New Moon in Capricorn arrives a few days later on the 23rd. This might bring renewal and traction in your work just in time for the New Year. The New Moon continues the square with Jupiter in Aries which may represent unexpected boons in the weeks to come for a personal project, a romantic connection, or simply faith that things are unfolding positively. You may be able to integrate the challenges of the last few years in ways that feel more productive or you may be able to look at some of the existing difficulties from a different angle.

On the 29th of December, Mercury stations retrograde while in conjunction with Venus and will be moving backward through Capricorn until January 18th. After the station, Mercury can take up to three weeks to complexly straighten out. You can regard this window of time until February as an opportunity to assess your self-expression, or situations with children or partners might come up during this period. You might be engaged in introspective reflection on these matters, and on your life in general, and the greater your penetration of your issues, the better you will be at ensuring smooth sailing as you cross into the second month of the New Year.
