Your principles and beliefs are up for renewal, Aries, with a serious commitment on your part to better understand yourself and your world. These values obviously must come from inside your own mind and heart to be the effective answers, for you, to the questions about your pathway forward. Early conditioning and consensus thought have played their role in forming your philosophy of life and you can take it from here. You are likely partaking in a process of rescuing yourself from misconceptions that have been holding you back, in a time of vibrant intuitional understanding. With your ruler, Mars, in retrograde through to beyond the ending of the year, this is also a somewhat introspective period, when you have more to say to yourself in your quest for wholeness than to others around you. The Capricorn New Moon of December 23rd represent a fresh start for you on your public statement as a true reflection of these newfound feelings of identity. What is also highlighted is your sense of an internal moral compass you possess that speaks its truth directly to you from in the deeper layers of your psyche.

Last month’s Sagittarius New Moon from November 23rd signaled the beginning of a new cycle for learning, teaching, and traveling that influences you for most of December. Jupiter, newly direct in Pisces in your soul sector could be heightening your experiences with inspired and mystical longings that might only be satiated by disconnecting from the mundane and stepping into the more meaningful things that your spirit craves. Your desire for adventure could be exaggerated this month and it can be hard to stay in place. You may prefer to go about your merry way and find fun and novel situations for yourself that can help you transcend your current limitations. You may need to get lost before you find your way home and this could be particularly easy to do in the first three weeks of December. Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, you might need to encounter a few strange characters along the way to help you return home with a different perspective that allows you to appreciate what you have.
On December 3rd, Neptune stations direct, coloring the first weekend of December with a dispersing yet inspiring influence. In the first days of the month, both Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius are forming a square with Neptune which could make it harder to concentrate on the boring stuff. The beginning of the month should be good for big concept ideas or work that does not require careful analysis. Inspiration could be available but discipline might be lacking, so favoring artistic and creative work may be your best bet if you have the privilege to do so.
Mercury enters Capricorn on the 6th which will gradually emphasize your career, vocation, and more extensively the outward expressions of your energy into the public sphere. Your business communications may be sizzling.
The Full Moon takes place in Gemini, culminating on December 7th with the Moon forming an extremely close conjunction with Mars retrograde. What you know and how you share your ideas with others could be highlighted in some way and your focus leaps toward curiosity and learning, plus going toward being understood correctly if you have to speak up about something. Mars being so closely connected to the Full Moon may bring important debates or negotiations at this time highlighting your power to convince. The Full Moon forming a semi-sextile to Uranus may bring up fluctuations in your finances or unexpected realizations about how you gain and spend. Your perspectives on things could be shifting and you might also question these. You are in a good place to persuade anyone of anything right now although you must first truly believe in them yourself before you can convince the world.
The Sun in Sagittarius passes through its square with Neptune from the 13th through the 15th. If these days feel like residual doubts still clouding your judgment, you should start to feel more inspired by what is emerging on the horizon once this mid-month time has passed.
The other good news for you this month comes from Jupiter re-entering Aries on the 20th where it had been transiting until late October. Jupiter will be moving through Aries for the next five months which should help you to believe in yourself and bring the confidence you need to take a few calculated risks in the year ahead.
The New Moon in Capricorn arrives a few days later on December 23rd, forming a dynamic square with Jupiter, auguring a joyful and exuberant momentum as the 2022 year comes to a close. The festive influence could be hard to ignore and it should be easier to connect to your sense of faith and optimism at this time. Looking at the big picture can help you to have hope that things will work out the way they are supposed to and that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
The last few days of December arrive with Mercury stationing retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th, while forming a conjunction with Venus, which may have something to do with a change in perspective especially as it relates to your work and your career. Staying flexible and hopeful at the end of December could help you clear the way for what you really want. Mercury will be then be moving retrograde until mid-January and taking another three weeks after that to unwind, which should eventually allow you to sort out your priorities and set new intentions as you enter the second week of February.
