The month of October begins on the other side of a New Moon in Libra that took place September 25th in the sector of your chart governing health and day-to-day routine. This could emphasize your desire to get your life organized this month. You might be preoccupied with implementing better habits to find greater vitality which in turn could help you be more productive. You may need to be aware of your energy levels at this time and of a necessity to be mindful about where you focus your attention. Your desires for reflection and introspection could also be highlighted this month; solitude could be for you an important part of staying grounded. Important changes in the ways you relate to the world may continue to be highlighted in October so that your ability to meet your goals might be linked to your ability to take the space you need to take as you proceed.
The Mercury Retrograde period has had you questioning your creativity and your sense of order. Mercury stations direct in Virgo on the 2nd and its forward motion could help you get a better handle on a creative process in the coming weeks, especially around mid-October when Mercury escapes its “retrograde shadow.” By the second half of the month a romantic scenario that may have felt overly complicated could get clarified and you may have a better idea of where things are heading.
The Full Moon in Aries on the 9th could illuminate your internal processes and your inner life. Frustrations, feelings of inadequacies or impatience, especially around your levels of productivity, could be highlighted and you may be able to see the habits or patterns that are detrimental to your well-being. Aspects of your nature which are compulsive or unconscious might become obvious around the Full Moon and give you the opportunity to let go of beliefs about yourself which may be working against you.
The week of October 9th could be a productive one and you may be able to apply yourself diligently towards your goals. Your ruling planet Venus, currently transiting in Libra, forms a supportive trine with Saturn in Aquarius mid-month , on the 5th through the 8th, which may bring much needed fluidity for work and health matters.
Things start to get more dynamic towards the 23rd of October as both the Sun and Venus enter your opposite sign of Scorpio. The last week of October contains a host of important astrological events beginning with a Partial Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on the 25th taking place in the part of your chart that relates to others. Partnerships may be highlighted at this time and adjustment could be required especially if your collaboration has a financial aspect to them. Your values or your self-worth might come up in conversation with others and it may be a good opportunity to recommit to yourself and what you have to offer, especially if you have been downplaying your talents and your contribution.
Jupiter re-enters Pisces on the 28th which may reignite a trajectory you were on earlier this year and help you finalize projects in the coming months. A renewed sense of potentiality could permeate the end of the month but you may still have to find an equilibrium between your own ambitions and the ones of the people around you. Pay attention to what others are willing to do for you and you might realize that you have more allies than you think.
Mars in Gemini turns retrograde on the 30th and will be moving backward through the sign of the twins until mid-January. This upcoming retrograde could be an opportunity to negotiate pre-existing contracts with others or put a financial strategy in place for the coming year. October ends with some forward movement but also the need to adjust your sails to meet the next leg of your journey.
