This is another extremely significant month for you, Aquarius, one that will allow you to rise to the occasion. There is a lot of emphasis on home and family life, and on the intimacy stemming from close connection with important others. Your creativity is also invoked, in support of career and your own communicative outreach. You seek a better alignment between public and private valuations, including deeply felt intuitional sensitivities that reach down into the very core of your being. It is a thoughtful time, especially once Mercury retrogrades on September 9th in your sector of higher mind explorations, including education and travel. The Full Moon that comes along a day later, on September 10th, brings more directly to the fore issues of self and other. Understanding where you are at on issues of truth and right action becomes increasingly important as the month unfolds. The Last Quarter Moon of the 17th provides a great deal of food for thought, along with an idealistic call to action around writing or articulation of your values. Throughout you are recognizing that you are here on this earth for your own evolutionary growth – nothing more – and tellingly, nothing less.
The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Elodie St-Onge Aubut of Ninth House Astrology
The New Moon in Virgo that took place on August 27th carried momentum to the part of your chart that relates to your intimate and business partnership, initiating a fresh thirty-day cycle for these matters that will unfold over most of September. The New Moon squaring from Mars in Gemini, corresponding to the part of your chart that relates to pleasure, could find you divided this month between your commitments and your need for more joyful and creative explorations. There are surprises brewing deep within you and intuitional information that bubbles up can be revelatory. Although you may be very dedicated to your important partnerships, you might be itching to get out of stagnating patterns or wanting relief after an extended period of overcommitment. What can come under close scrutiny in September is the dynamics of how you bind yourself to others or the support you gain from your personal and business associations. There may be factors that are compelling you to focus on your own needs, especially if you have felt a deficit in some areas of your life. Partnerships and collaborators could be requiring more of your attention or dedication at this time which could put things in perspective for you.
Mars in Gemini forms a supportive sextile with Jupiter in Aries at the beginning of the month on from the 1st to the 4th, which could be pointing at learning or creative opportunities in your periphery. Mars is now transiting in Gemini lasting for the next several months due to Mars’ retrograde at the end of October. This whole time could be extremely prolific for you especially if you allow yourself to flow toward what you love. Venus on Virgo from the 4th on implies that you might be preoccupied with your commitments, perhaps missing out on opportunities knocking at your door right now. You may have to attend to your partnerships before you can fully move into some of the creative ideas that are emerging.
Mercury stations retrograde in Libra on the 9th and will be moving backward until the beginning of October, emphasizing expansion and growth and the logistical details you must deal with before venturing onto new territory.
The Full Moon culminates on the 10th in the sign of Pisces, which highlights the resources that are available to you and what binds you to others. You could feel a divide between pre-existing agreements and a desire for novelty. If you are sacrificing too much of your autonomy, this Full Moon might make that clear and allow you to see the dynamics of your relationship with others more clearly.
On September 15th through 17th , as the Sun in Virgo comes into an opposition with Neptune, this third weekend of September could continue to highlight the give and take within your partnerships. Feelings of confusion could permeate this time and it might be harder to prioritize yourself and stick to your resolve. You may feel obligated to show up in a certain way or to follow through with your commitments even if your heart is telling you something else. Venus in Virgo squares Mars in Gemini on the 15th through 17th also, and could trigger your need for connection and intimacy although as well, the requirements of a partnership may be at odds with your desires.
Your perspective could start to open up as the Sun enters Libra on the 22nd which signals the September Equinox. Messenger planet Mercury is still moving retrograde through the sign of Libra and meets up with the Sun on the 22nd through the 23rd for its inferior conjunction. This is an important moment in the Mercury Retrograde cycle that usually brings some clarity although with Venus opposing Neptune at this time, through the 24th, could highlight some confusion around your sense of self-worth, your values and what someone else is willing to provide. Mercury re-entering Virgo can mean that you are not done revising contracts and agreements between you and others but
The New Moon in Libra on the 25th infuses fresh energy into the vision sector of your chart. This might help you focus on the bigger picture. The Sun in Libra opposes Jupiter in Aries from the 25th through the 27th, just as Venus comes in conjunction with Mercury Retrograde in Virgo on the 25th and 26th, which may bring fruitful conversations that help you move beyond limiting beliefs about yourself or about a situation. An important perspective shift could assist you in making the best of recent worries.
On September 25th through the 30th, Mars in Gemini and Saturn in Aquarius form a supportive aspect that could help you better focus on your overall direction and your personal projects. Venus entering Libra on the 29th signals a time of expansion and opportunities related to learning, teaching and traveling. You have a lot working in your favor as the month comes to a close so that it might feel easier to see the silver lining in your current limitations.
