This is a month of following through, Aries, on what you have gleaned from the preceding month of introspection, what with Mercury retrograding through your sector of learning and communication all that time. Starting you off in the first full week of the current monthly cycle, there still remains in fact a finale of looking within, leading up to the July 9th Cancer New Moon. In that new beginning, applying most directly to the root sector of your chart symbolizing home and family concerns, can be found new reliance on familial dynamics and relationship patterns. You have been prone to question these in recent weeks, seeking to find what fits and what does not. This as you step back for a truly big picture viewpoint on everything that you are up to. If there is a way to blend responsibilities with independence, conservative holding back with exploring new horizons that beckon on you onward, then you are all for it. Compromise might not be such a bad word after all if that leads you to your deepest and most fundamental desires for yourself, moving forward.

As the month begins, you are still reeling from the June month, when a powerful Solar Eclipse in Gemini that brought a lot of momentum in the communication sector of your chart was accompanied by Mercury in retrograde, slowing these things down. Mercury has been in Gemini since the beginning of May, thereby bringing attention to projects related to learning, writing or exchanging information and ideas with others. The very beginning of July brings a focus on your creative aspirations and your long term goals. You may be trying to combine pleasure and duty with more or less success. Additionally, Mars transiting in Leo brings a lot of energy for all your personal and creative projects but an opposition from Saturn in Aquarius and a square from Uranus in Taurus could bring a frustrating influence to the mix. Financial concerns could be throwing a curveball into your carefully laid plans and you might have to find a new way to finance a project or a goal.
For the first three week of July, the Sun transiting in Cancer also emphasizes your home, your roots and your family. A square between the Sun and Chiron in Aries on the 4th could bring up a difficult tension with a family member or you may find yourself missing a home scene that you are remote from. Whichever way this might show up for you there is a tension between your goals and your need to feel supported and safe at this time.
On July 5th and 6th, Mercury in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces for a third time since the end of May. Mental clarity might not be available for a few days as various contradicting information seems to create confusing circumstances. Things may seem harder than they really are especially as Venus in Leo also comes into an exact opposition with Saturn in Aquarius late on the 6th. If you feel overwhelmed during this time, allow for things to pass before jumping to conclusion.
The New Moon in Cancer on July 9th signals the beginning of a new cycle for things related to your home and your family. You may be moving locations or prioritizing time at home. Sometimes the best way to stabilize yourselves amidst changing circumstances is by slowing down and taking time for yourself. If being a homebody is not in the cards for you, it might also be that this symbolism manifests in you feeling more connected to your past and your family. Pay attention to what you symbolically are hungry for as it could be a good indication of what your next step needs to be. Mercury enters Cancer on the 11th, continuing to bring attention to your roots, your family and your home in the following weeks.
Venus conjuncts Mars in Leo from the 10th to the 14th, and this is a great aspect if you are an artist or a creator. Even if you are not inclined to create, this aspect could indicate a time when your artistic or aesthetic sensitivities are heightened. Music, cinema, theatre and the likes could be highly pleasurable for you in mid-July. Go out and have fun, spend time doing what you love, and let your inspiration guide you.
The First Quarter Moon takes place in the sign of Libra on the 17th, which could highlight an ongoing tension between where you want to be versus where you have to be. This may relate to a partner’s choice or a career obligation but either way it might feel as though there are no easy solutions. There is likely to be a long-term transformation occurring in terms of career and professional life that this day’s momentary difficulties could highlight.
Mercury in Cancer squaring Chiron in Aries on the 18th and 19th could bring up feelings of inadequacy, or fears related to not being able to get what you want. You might be moved to talk about these deeper feelings and old wounds that still inhibit you from action, which could be helpful to your eventual healing of these issues. These aspects subside by the time the Sun enters Leo on the 22nd, where it will emphasize your passions and your creative projects until mid-August, bringing an overall supportive influence for what you are trying to accomplish.
The Full Moon in Aquarius takes place late on the 23rd culminating in the part of your chart that relates to your goals and aspirations. Something may come to light that helps you delineate the next phase of your journey. Mercury enters Leo on the 27th and Jupiter re-enters Aquarius on the 28th which may bring up a dream or a goal that was put on the back burner earlier this spring. There are a lot of changes this month but by the end of it, you could have a greater sense of clarity in connection with where you want and how to get there.
