This is an active month of achievement for you, Sagittarius, when your creativity is really up for you, which includes discerning whatever hidden issues could be holding you back. A highlighted presence of Chiron, the Wounded Healer, from the very beginning, has you questioning the dark places within you, the residue of early childhood trauma, where such hang-ups, until addressed, can fester and arise at times to bock your efforts. You win when you can find it within yourself to pay respectful attention to these areas of old hurt. In the Aries New Moon of April 11th you will find tremendous energy for pursuing your most important goals with fervor and imagination. You are going for not the surface glitter of seeming success, but the kind of success that really matters to you, deep down, and that accords with your sincerest principles. Only when love and need are one, as the poet says, is the deed ever really done; and in order to fulfill this mandate, the prerequisite is that you discover your bottom line principles, and then begin to act up on these and these alone.

The month of April begins with the Sun and Venus transiting in the Fire sign of Aries. These two planets are in a supportive aspect to your sign for most of the month which means things should flow relatively smoothly for you. If you’ve felt sluggish in the recent weeks, you could start to feel the energy of Spring returning, bringing back your desire to go out and have fun. The New Moon in Pisces from the middle of March brought a more introspective period which is not always your preferred mode of operation. Now that we are in the midst of Aries season you can start to feel things opening up again and regain your deepened sense of perspective.
Mercury enters Aries on the late evening of the 3rd, joining the Sun and Venus already transiting there. This emphasizes your self-expression and your creative pursuits. Your desires may be felt quite dramatically during the first half of the month; you might be more romantic than usual or feeling a heightened sense of aesthetics. You could also be expecting a partner to reciprocate your gestures exactly the way you want. With Mars transiting in your opposite sign of Gemini you might be feeling more pushy with partners or the reverse, and try getting your own way or find you are more argumentative than usual. You win right now when you take the time to listen to what others are trying to express and strike a balance between what you need and what others may be requiring from you. There is a special connection this month between your ability to stay playful and how well you can get along with others. A delicate balance is possible but you may have to practice up on your active listening techniques.
Mercury conjuncts Chiron in Aries from the 8th to the 9th, and this aspect might bring up fears surrounding your self-expression or in a romantic scenario. You may not see things entirely clearly, with doubts about self-worth entering into the equation, and you could have the tendency to start seeing the reactions from others as indicative of rejection, or feel overlooked or unworthy. You may be prompted to explore these feelings leading up to the second weekend of April, and recognize that there is also much healing available to you at this time. This attitude adjustment applies to your creative expression, your originality, your feelings of worthiness, and what you have to contribute to the world.
The New Moon in Aries on April 11th brings an important reset for everything connected with your self-expression, including putting some of the doubts to rest. You will likely feel a renewed sense of possibilities when it comes to doing what you love and having fun while doing so. The New Moon is powered up by Mars in Gemini in your relationship sector, therefore linking partnership and pleasure. Positive attitudes can go a long way in reconciling any feelings of alienation you may have experienced in the recent months. You know exactly what you want and how to get it. It could be a good time to negotiate as you will be more persuasive than usual - especially mid-month when the Sun sextiles Jupiter, your ruler, in Aquarius.
Take advantage of the third week of the month to push your projects in the direction that they need to go. You should have the confidence to go after what you want with the skills to back up your claims. You can get a lot accomplished if you channel your extra energy into constructive projects.
Once Mercury and the Sun enter Taurus on the 19th, your attention may gradually turn towards the more detailed aspects of your work and finalizing what’s been dragging behind. You may want to spend time attending to your everyday routine, organizing logistical issues, and cleaning up your space to make it more functional. You might have to contend with some unforeseen elements especially during the last week of April, as things start to get busier for you. You could keep things manageable by not taking on more than you can handle. If you can temper your enthusiasm in the first half of the month and prepare to meet all of your responsibilities in the second half, then things should run fairly smoothly. You may still, however, have to deal with unforeseen stressors in the timing of the 24th to the 25th.
The Full Moon in Scorpio takes place on the late evening of the 26th and could highlight how well you’ve been dealing with your stress, and perhaps things that you would prefer to ignore. Scorpio is a sign often associated with the darker and more difficult aspects of the human psyche. Scorpios like to probe underneath the everyday veneer to try to understand the mechanics of power that happens under the surface. For you Sagittarius, this Full Moon may highlight how well you’ve been dealing with difficult emotions and the impact they have on your physical body. You may come to grips with interior facets of yourself you’ve been ignoring. It may be important to more greatly acknowledge unconscious issues that keep affecting you in subtle ways. It may be time to face and pay attention to the hurt places within you in order to integrate them more consciously. In this way you can find greater ease in your body, and in your life.
