Taurus Horoscope for November 2020

Posted on October 30, 2020 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

This is another in the series of wild and wacky months for you, Taurus. You have trickster Uranus sitting in your identity sector and now, since Halloween, in full costume. The trouble is he won’t take it off, and in fact keeps on flashing with greater and stranger iridescence. Your inner world is reflected in the stances that he takes and when you can complete the metaphor, you will find in his communications a way down the back stairs to your deepest, and truest, self. You just have to be prepared to accept what is offered in this clandestine – and perhaps suspect – manner. Old wounds provide ongoing issues that can get in the way of perfecting your relationship dynamic to meet with changing circumstances. Variations in worldview are timely and could be the avenue to relieve suffering. Relationship matters shift after the 15th, and again on the 21st, so that greater and greater focus on the remaining issues can move mountains.

The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Elodie St-Onge-Aubut of Ninth House Astrology

November opens on the other side of a potent Full Moon conjunct Uranus in your sign while your ruling planet Venus is transiting in Libra. This aspect brings tremendous attention to your body, your health, and your habits. Venus in Libra opposite Chiron in Aries on November 1st could represent a time when you are able to pick up on the subtle cues arising from your instinctual self. If something is not sitting right, trust what your intuition is telling you. This time could be a time of healing for you especially if you are open to exploring alternative modalities. Mars is still retrograde in your soul-sector, unearthing long buried patterns especially around self-assertion, anger, and the less compliant side of your nature. It’s an excellent time to do mind/body work, and release long held tensions.

Mercury stations direct in Libra on November 3rd after a three-week retrograde period which highlights your routine, and workflow. A long term goal or a big project may require your full attention, and questions of discipline me keep coming up. A significant part of the Mercury Retrograde occurred in the sign of Scorpio which for you may have also brought up issues around partnerships, and your deep involvement with others. The need to compromise in order to make something work requires negotiations, and these last three weeks may have been about negotiating the terms of a particular arrangement. Mercury re-entering Scorpio on November 10th and the following days could bring the clarity you’ve been looking for in your partnerships.

On the 8th and 9th, Venus in Libra opposing Mars retrograde in Aries highlights the recent epiphanies you’ve been having in connection with the way you assert yourself. Finding ways to express your frustrations openly with others is directly linked to how good you feel. You may be at a point in your life where your health and stability is more important than agreeing with others for the sake of keeping the peace.

Jupiter conjoins Pluto in Capricorn on November 12th for the last of three meetings between these two powerhouses. This final conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto carries a lot of energy for your long term goals where you have been applying yourself slowly but diligently. You should start to feel things progressing faster in the areas of your life where you have been investing so much of your time with very little rewards.

Mars stations direct in Aries on November 13th after being retrograde since the second week of September. Mars moving direct will also help speed things up in the coming months. The red planet will be retracing the degrees where it was transiting in late July. This could mean that situations in play since last Summer have had a back and forth dynamic. Mars in Aries is associated with momentum, forward motion, drive, ambition, and self-assertion amongst many things. After a period of deeper introspection, you may feel more like coming out as suggested by the above modes of expression, and the necessity to be more direct is a priority.

The New Moon in Scorpio, late evening of November 14th, or early morning hours on the 15th, carries fresh intentions in the realm of your relationships. Energy investment may be on your mind these days and this applies to the people you let into your personal space. You may be in need of both commitment, and space simultaneously. These two opposing needs are however not irreconcilable and it's a matter of having a clear and honest conversation about what you need with yourself, and then with others. Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus one more time on November 17th. This is an aspect that occurred at the beginning of October bringing themes of independence versus commitments for you. Your need to be yourself no matter the cost may be felt more acutely than usual while Uranus transit in your sign. It’s important to heed this call while remembering that others may be sensitive to your desire for independence. The way you frame things will make all the difference.

On November 21st, the Sun moving into Sagittarius just as Venus simultaneously enters Scorpio carries you deeper into your agreements with others. You may become increasingly aware of the underlying contracts that binds you. Intimacy and all that it involves may be on your mind. The support or the lack of support may become obvious in the next month.

The end of November signals the beginning of eclipse season with a penumbral Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon taking place on Monday, November 30th, in the sign of Gemini. This one occurs in the financial sector of your chart weaving a thread around your financial independence. Your desire to have more freedom and agency in your life may be connected to how you make money. Having less energy for compromises also means having less patience for a boss. This eclipse is only the opening act in a series of eclipses on the Gemini/Sagittarius axis that will take you all the way to the end of 2021. You don’t need to have it all figured out tomorrow but your desire for personal independence could be a factor playing into your decisions in the next year.
