This is another rather intense month for you, Taurus, oriented toward the outer, but filled with inner work. As the month begins, Venus is newly entered into your sign, which speaks to issues of identity. With Mercury still in retrograde, you might find yourself questioning aspects of your self-concept, or indeed of your career focus, also greatly highlighted. You are dedicated to achievement, although perhaps uncertain about the course of your future development. There is tremendous emphasis also on meditation regarding your own inner wounding, the likely residue of childhood trauma. What becomes vitally important is making friends with – and paying attention to – the hurt places within you. This is especially so at the Sagittarius Full Moon of June 14th that provides a significant inflection point when much is illusory and when transformation of your worldview, professional choices, and societal contribution is in the offing. Mercury is then finally escaping its retrograde shadow. Much depends on progress with better understanding your internal sense of moral compass, together with your inner world, those hidden parts of yourself which are nonetheless strong factors in your overall motivation.
The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Elodie St-Onge Aubut of Ninth House Astrology
The New Moon that just occurred in Gemini in the final two days of the previous month lights up your resources sector for June, and this could bring a powerful incentive to reset your attitude, especially when it comes to your sense of self-worth and what you have to share with the world. Opportunities to put yourself out there in ways you have never done before might present themselves this month, and it may be a good time to do so. Since the end of April, members of your sign have been under pressure thanks to the Solar Eclipse in Taurus and last month’s Mercury Retrograde in both Taurus and Gemini. You could find yourself getting rid of personality factors that undermine your self-confidence to make room for more wholesome and authentic ways of showing up in the world. Being seen has never been on your priority list, and you may at times have been more preoccupied with helping others get to the top. It might be time to acknowledge that nobody else will do that for you if you don't prioritize yourself. You shouldn't feel guilty about putting the spotlight on yourself and your own desires.
Mercury turns direct late in your sign on June 3rd, helping you advocate for your needs. Power may be an important word for you this month, and it could come in the form of taking all the space you need unabashedly. Mercury will re-enter the sign of Gemini on the 13th as it begins to escape its retrograde shadow and finally straighten out.
Saturn in Aquarius stations retrograde on June 4th in square with a stationary Mercury in your sign, and this may bring focus to your career and professional life. There could be continued questioning of your motivations there. Saturn will be moving retrograde until late October, which may continue to highlight feelings of alienation and a desire for greater cohesion between your external and internal priorities. You may have to continue plowing in your fields before reaping the rewards. However, the effort and time investment you are putting into your dreams have the potential to yield significant results down the road. Don't get discouraged by the seeming lack of feedback at this conjuncture, and keep going.
The second weekend of June could bring tangible results and significant traction for things you have been working on as Mercury in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn for the third time since April. Incremental progress could bring the quality you desire instead of wanting to get to the finish line too quickly. However, Venus in Taurus conjunct Uranus on the 11th could emphasize the impatience you may have for a stagnating situation. You may have to break your own rules to make the changes you want to happen.
The Full Moon in Sagittarius culminates on June 14th in the sector of your chart that relates to your depths, as well as to intimate partnerships and your shared resources. Important realizations may come to you, especially if you've allowed yourself to take the space that you need. It might sometimes feel like you need others more than you do, and your autonomy could be essential right now to integrate the parts of yourself which often remain obscured by too many compromises. The Full Moon in Sagittarius also features a Mars-Chiron conjunction in Aries that could help you shed light on the more fiery aspects of your nature, which usually tend to remain hidden. Mars conjoining Chiron in the part of your chart which relates to your unconscious might bring up tension or anger you didn't even know you had. You might need to acknowledge the warrior in you and make space for it to coexist with your more peaceful side.
On the 15th and the 16th, the Sun in Gemini coming into a trine with Saturn in Aquarius and Venus conjoined with the North Node in your sign could help you integrate recent realizations and bring a much-needed boost, especially if you've felt unsure about your place in the world.
On the 18th and the 19th, Venus square to Saturn and sextile Neptune may continue to emphasize themes related to your sense of self-worth, desires, and perhaps how your values shape your reality.
The Sun enters the magical waters of Cancer on the 21st, signaling the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun in Cancer for the next month emphasizes the part of your chart that relates to your ideas and how you communicate with your surroundings. With Jupiter, Mars, and Chiron transiting in Aries in your soul sector, what you have to share with others could come from a very emotional or subjective place. You may need to find ways to channel pent-up energy into creative outlets, and the results could be remarkable. People could feel the passion and fire behind your words at this time, and it may be your opportunity to explore the more unconscious parts of your psyche that demands expression.
Venus enters Gemini on the 22nd and comes into a supportive sextile with Jupiter towards the end of the month. This is an easy aspect that must yet be handled with care, especially if you are not entirely aware of your motivations at this time. You could feel more indulgent, or you may be more prone to take a gamble without having all the info.
Th Cancer New Moon take place on the 28th and is also strong for members of your sign, emphasizing communication. Although taking a few calculated risks could pay off, the best way to handle the end of the month is by making sure you know what you want and perhaps putting a cap on what you can spend. You can benefit from the lucky influences coming from Jupiter and Venus's alignment without going overboard.
