This is another month of changes for you, Taurus, following the very interesting October month of surprise interactions and further developments in concepts of service that you have perhaps long been cultivating. This month represents something of a consolidation, and also a fresh start in the partnership department; a shift perhaps brought on by your recent growth in other areas such as worldview and career goals. This month is also about your increasingly sincere commitment to better balance between civilization and Nature, a theme with many ramifications for you. A transition takes place over the month’s first week, whereby you become more comfortable with these new ways of being in the world, and in connection with important partners. The New Moon of Thursday, November 4th, is particularly significant in this way, and represents something of a fresh start in this important area of life. There is still a shake-up taking place this month, as well as last, at deeper levels of your psyche. This affects concepts of your identity and your career/profession. You are learning to more completely trust your intuition, and this is a terrific development for you.
The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Elodie St-Onge-Aubut of Ninth House Astrology
Getting along with everyone is one of your superpowers although that doesn’t mean you want everyone to be part of your life. Mercury Retrograde in Libra for the past month might have tested your patience in that regard more than once; when it comes to keeping the peace with collaborators it could have felt strained. If you’ve been depending on others to give you a straight answer you may have come to realize that you’re going to have to wait on that for a while.
The old adage ‘’You are never better served than by yourself’’ may ring true for you these days but in spite of that, the New Moon in Scorpio near the beginning of November brings fresh energy for your partnership dynamics. The Sun and the Moon meet in Scorpio on the 4th sharing that sign with Mars, already there, representing the beginning of a new cycle emphasizing your relationships – and more extensively the compromises needed for these to work. The fact that this New Moon is also exactly opposite Uranus, currently transiting in your sign, is significant, greatly emphasizing the importance of balancing your relationships with your need for individuality. The more space you have to be yourself at this time, and for doing whatever it is you want, the better. Don’t be afraid to try new ways of undertaking; certainly the Uranian influence that permeates the month of November could serve to break you free from situations or habits that are stagnating or that bring little satisfaction. The New Moon in Scorpio also, however, squares Saturn in Aquarius, and this could imply that you will need a certain amount of strategy and planning to make everything work.
Your ruling planet Venus enters Capricorn on the 5th, where she will be transiting for an exceptionally long time, until March ‘22, due to her turning retrograde in late December lasting for most of January. Mercury enters Scorpio on the 5th, as well, and comes into a supportive sextile with Venus in Capricorn which could bring mind-altering conversations with others. Venus in Capricorn for the next seventeen weeks highlights your vision sector and could offer much-needed perspective. If you’ve been on a particular learning journey you may decide to adjust your trajectory to include new findings. You’ll have plenty of time in the following months to revise your ideas about the world, perhaps through studying and exploring different philosophical concepts.
In another significant aspect, Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio and square Saturn in Aquarius on the 9th and10th could bring up an existing tension in a partnership or in your work. This influence may help research projects that require a certain amount of focus but you may also have to contend with roadblocks. There may be pressure to succeed whether this is self-imposed or coming from someone else or you may be more aware than usual of your responsibilities and obligations. The First Quarter Moon in Aquarius on the 11th highlights the delicate balance between your personal goals and your partnerships and you may need to pay attention to both areas of your life simultaneously.
You may feel like you are juggling too many things without being able to prioritize but the current tension may also be forcing you to find better ways of doing things. Don’t be afraid of asking for what you need. There might be more support available than you think and solutions may start to emerge mid-month. Addressing your frustrations with proactive actions could yield surprising results during the second and third week of November.
A partial Lunar Eclipse takes place in your sign on the 19th of November. This Full Moon is a huge event for you, likely bringing up issues of self and other. This lunation configuration could be highlighting important changes that may be needed for you to align more authentically with your desires and your goals. You could feel restless and less compromising than usual, and it also may be important to listen to what your body is telling you. The eclipse Moon squaring Jupiter in Aquarius highlights important opportunities that could be present in your career at this time, and that may however require a certain amount of sacrifice. Venus in Capricorn rules over this eclipse and is in a supportive trine with Uranus in Taurus. There may be a small revolution taking place in the following months that relates to learning or teaching that could bring significant progress in your life. Flexibility and the willingness to change could be your best asset right now.
The Sun enters Sagittarius on the 21st and Mercury follows suit on the 24th, signaling the beginning of a quieter period. You may find yourself assessing the resource available to you or revising the agreements you have with others. Mercury conjunct the Sun in Sagittarius at the end of the month could bring important insights related to intimacy or shared resources. There may be support or funding available that could allow you to pursue your goals with more confidence. You may have to shuffle your priorities around to make things work with others in the first half of November but the end of the month could also bring important players or allies that can support your cause.
