This is another wild and wooly month for you, Taurus, as you face relationship twists and turns, and enhancements, as well as questions regarding even your own identity. You who love stability and peaceful slow-moving decision planning are instead in for the roller-coaster variety of living. Mercury is retrograding and Uranus is lighting up your home sign in concert with the recent New Moon gleaming in your partnership sector, indicating one key area right now. There is a way to be calm about all this, and that is to accept what is, which is like being shipboard with a storm at sea. Sooner or later it will come out straight and all you can do for the moment is to hold on. In the meantime please do reflect upon your Higher Self, which understands that everything that is now happening comes to you with hidden benefit. You may be finding the way to forcefully exit old well-worn ruts that you have long outgrown, and to imagine, where you formerly perceived nothing, new pathways forward.
The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School in his final month with us. Adam has decided that other obligations of his must take precedence. We are grateful for his steady support of our astrological content for the past two years!
November begins just after a dynamic New Moon in Scorpio (from October 27th) landed in your seventh house of relationships opposite Uranus in your home sign of Taurus. The month ahead will therefore continue to feature the theme of a personal evolution, which could be taking place in and through your most intimate relationships. Just as your relationships are forcing you to change, your own personal growth is forcing your relationships to change, and this dynamic will continue all month long. Additionally, with Uranus emphasized, you might find that unexpected events take place that lead you over the course of the month to significant new understanding of your own identity.
On November 1st, Mercury will also turn retrograde in your seventh house of relationships, emphasizing a time of reorganization within a relationship, or perhaps indicating a reorientation of some kind that is taking place for a romantic partner.
On November 1st, your ruling planet, Venus, will also enter Sagittarius and move into your eighth house of shared resources, suggesting that there is an opportunity this month for working together and finding harmony, and possibly even financial or creative success, with others.
Between November 1st and 6th, Mars in Libra in your sixth house of work and service will square Pluto in Capricorn in your ninth house of the higher mind. Be careful not to force ideas or beliefs on others but honor the need you might be feeling right now to analyze or scrutinize beliefs, ideas, and opinions, especially those of your own that might need revising.
Between November 6th and the 9th, the Sun in Scorpio in your seventh house in relationships will make a trine to Neptune in Pisces in your eleventh house of friends and groups. Watch for beneficial social and romantic connections around this time, and don’t be surprised if your need for spiritual community is strong right now.
On November 12th, the Full Moon in Taurus will fall in your home sign, putting the spotlight on your own health and emotional needs, along with your connection to important partners. From this point on, the energy of the month may have you shifting from exclusively focusing on partnership to considering your own needs or your own position within your relationships.
Between November 11th and 15th, Venus in Sagittarius in your eighth house of shared resources will square Neptune in Pisces in your eleventh house of friends. You may find that you are benefiting greatly right now through your relationships, or that you are finding new groups of people that you share common dreams or visions with. On the other hand, be careful that you are not chasing social connections for selfish reasons right now, as it could come back to haunt you later.
On November 20th, Mercury will finally turn direct again in Scorpio in your seventh house, signaling a moment of integration and redirection in your relationships as the retrograde period begins to fade, which has been affecting all your relationships.
Then Between November 22nd and 25th, Venus will conjoin Jupiter in Sagittarius, in your eighth house, indicating a period of greater abundance, good fortune, joy, and creativity. Because this conjunction falls in your eighth house of shared resources, it’s possible that your connections with others, perhaps even a marriage or romantic relationship is of great help to you right now.
November 24th to the 26th, Mars in Scorpio in your seventh house will oppose Uranus in your first house and home sign of Taurus, once more emphasizing the need for confronting issues in your relationships and of making bold decisions or taking initiative on something new. At the same time, you will want to be careful of power struggles or unexpected confrontations.
Finally, the New Moon in Sagittarius on November 26th also falls in your eighth house of shared resources, suggesting that the theme of money, relationships, shared debts/resources will be pronounced throughout the entire lunar cycle to come, taking you up to the last week of December.
