This is a month that offers many possibilities to you, Aries, not least amongst these the chance for greater relationship understanding and communication. You continue to be in the midst of massive transformation, and, indeed, structural change, in every part of your being. Your seventh house of partnership is also loaded, in the timing of the recent Libra New Moon, leading to a major focus on your alterations there. You are very invested in working through old wounds in this area, and regarding personal identity and potential self-doubt, learning to see beyond these limitations as you take requisite action. By articulating your deepest truth as you know it, you better understand – and celebrate – your most profound values. These in turn lead you out of yourself in the most useful way, allowing focused action in support of what you, and only you, recognize as your true goals. Through it all, Nature as spiritual path sustains you and helps to create in your relationship interactions the design for healing.

The month begins right on the heels of a New Moon in your seventh house of marriage and relationships, the energy from which will continue to affect you for the rest of October, calling you to do strive for greater balance, beauty and harmony in all of your relationships. Because Uranus in Taurus, in your second house, was strongly triggered in this recent New Moon, you will likely feel the effect of this powerful lunation upon your finances and other resources, as they get a boost on their continuing fluctuations. You may well find new and innovative values emerging into your conscious beliefs.

On October 3rd, your ruling planet, Mars, will enter Libra and move into your seventh house of relationships. While this emphasizes the same themes as the recent New Moon, it also adds a dimension of conflict and competition. Watch for an opportunity to do some deeper healing work with this transit between October 8th and 9th as Mars opposes Chiron, the wounded healer, in your home sign of Aries.

On October 5th to the 7th, Mercury in Scorpio in your eighth house of death and rebirth will oppose Uranus in Taurus in your second house of income and expenditures. Watch for rapid or unexpected developments, ideas, contracts or negotiations, messages or news, perhaps especially related to money or business around this time.

At the same time, exact on October 7th, the Sun in Libra in your seventh house of relationships will square Saturn in Capricorn in your tenth house of career. The potential for significant changes at work or in relationships is pronounced, but Saturn will want either a more mature or defined relationship, or Saturn will want to negate or take control of something right now. Be careful not to get entangled in power struggles, or negative thinking. This is also a time where the karma of fathers or authority figures may be pronounced.

Between October 11th and 13th, Venus in Scorpio in your eighth house will oppose Uranus in Taurus in your second house, echoing Mercury’s recent opposition but this time emphasizing themes of revolution in relationships, or art, sexuality, and experimentation. It’s possible that there is a distinct financial change during this time as well.

On October 13th, the Full Moon will also fall in your home sign of Aries, in your first house, suggesting a time of self-focus, perhaps with an emphasis on your health or the personal desire start a new project. Don’t be surprised if you are feeling a little more emotional than usual, or if you are more temperamental during this Full Moon, and make sure to spend your physical and emotional energy wisely.

At the same time, on October 13th, both the Sun and Moon, in Libra in your seventh house, and in Aries, your first, will square Pluto in Capricorn in your tenth house of career, echoing the Sun’s square to Saturn from earlier in the month. Again, the themes of deep change in your relationships and career are in the air right now. The only difference here is that Pluto will demand that something be transformed, entirely, or “die,” for a complete rebirth to take place.

Later in the month, between October 26th and the 28th, the Sun in Scorpio in your eighth house will oppose Uranus in Taurus in your second house, while Mars in Libra will square Saturn in Capricorn. Together, these transits announce a time of hard work, pressure, and ultimately progress and innovation. If you are feeling stuck in the grind of work and daily routines, don’t be surprised if you experience a powerful breakthrough during this time. Put to good use, this transit is innovative and hard-working, disciplined and revolutionary. Put to poor use, this transit is about the need to break free of rigid thinking, rigid people, or rigid ways of living.

Finally, On October 27th, the New Moon falls in Scorpio in your eighth house of death, debts, and other people’s money, opposing Uranus in Taurus in your second house of your own income and money suggesting a lunar cycle ahead for the following month that is focused on those deeper soul contracts you share with others in this lifetime, perhaps especially related to business or financial matters.
