This is another amazing month for you, Cancer, with emotional communication as one major motif, and big changes coming your way on the relationship front! This does not necessarily mean an ending, though, rather, more of a beginning. There could be facets of your partnering dynamic that have been outgrown and remain as less than fully functional vestigial hangers on, and if so, these are very likely to be shed, which will benefit you in the longer term. This difficult patch from now until at least the first few months of 2020 will therefore be character-building, and, ultimately, relationship-rewarding. Simultaneously, you are coming to new goals, perhaps significant departures from the old norm, and a shifting and idealized world-view. It is fortunate that you currently have a fundamentally optimistic and forward-looking attitude right now, which is exactly what you need. Try not to lean too hard on the rose-colored outlook but keep to a balanced approach and everything will turn out just fine.
The following was written by our resident monthly columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School
The month begins just as Mercury in Virgo in your third house of the mind and your immediate environment is making a trine to Uranus in Taurus in your eleventh house of friends and groups, and just as Mars in Virgo is also conjunct the Sun in a rare cazimi (at the heart of the Sun). The recent New Moon in Virgo from two days before the month began (August 30) also gives your third house enormous emphasis during most of September as well. You are likely making progress in your life right now thanks to a new way of thinking, or thanks in part to new friends or a new group, or even exciting changes that are manifesting in your social life. It’s a good month to set an intention for learning something new, or to commit to a new organizational plan or strategy for your daily life. You may also be gifted with an insight that helps you to diagnose or analyze something in order to fix or improve it.
Between September 3rd and 4th, Venus in Virgo in your third house will oppose Neptune in Pisces in your ninth house of the higher mind, faith, and long journeys, pointing to the need for deeper, or more imaginative conversations in your relationships. You may also notice themes of faith and friendship, daughters, women, and travel, as well as learning, romance, and the importance of “belief.”
Between September 8th and 12th, the Sun and Mars in Virgo in your third house will move through squares with Jupiter in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service. It’s an excellent time to put new ideas into immediate action. This period may require a bit of hard work as you are clarifying your values and exploring how they may be put into action in more intelligent ways.
Between September 13th and the 14th, Mercury and Venus will conjoin in Virgo and then move together into Libra and into your fourth house of home and family. Watch for mending, fixing, or healing taking place in your relationship. Watch for constructive words and agreements. The emphasis on relationships, peace, communication, and domestic or family life will be pronounced.
On The late evening of September 13th, during this same period, the Full Moon will fall in Pisces in your ninth house of faith, higher learning, and long journeys, in a close conjunction with Neptune, while Mars also closely opposes Neptune. Your heart and mind are being opened right now, and you are being asked to look at the bigger picture, even as you may be organizing or implementing healthier and more practical ways of existing in your day to day life.
Between September 21st and 22nd, Jupiter in Sagittarius in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, will then square Neptune in Pisces in your ninth house of higher learning, faith, and long journeys. As the 2019 winds down, you are being inspired to fix, mend, heal, learn and grow to a higher level, reaching for a better version of yourself. This is a journey of both faith and love, of both practical, everyday work, as well as the adopting of a larger view of yourself and even reality itself. The magic of this transit is that it will likely bring you more inspiration about how you can grow into the person you know you are meant to become, as long as you keep an open mind and remain willing to do the work!
On September 22nd, the Sun enters Libra and moves through the gateway of the Fall Equinox, entering your fourth house of home and family, where it will stay for the next thirty days, placing an emphasis on family of origin, particularly fathers, as well as endings and new beginnings related to home and family concerns in general.
Between September 25th and 26th, Venus in Libra in your fourth house will square Saturn in Capricorn in your seventh house of relationships, just as Mercury in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn. There is a moment of necessity in the air around this transit. It could be time to say goodbye to someone or something from the past, to set new boundAries, or to redefine family or romantic relationships. You might also be committing to someone or something at a deeper level, or even restructuring something in order to create a deeper level of integrity and support.
Finally, on September 28th, the New Moon in Libra falls in your fourth house of home and family, kicking off a new thirty-day cycle. Your core issues could come forward in a big way at this time, and there will be further emphasis on the importance of themes of home, parents, family, roots, land, property, and foundations. It’s going to be another powerful lunar cycle!
