Gemini Horoscope for June 2019

This month, Gemini, continues the themes of inner work and the exploration of relationship and intimacy that have been at the core of your recent experience these past weeks and months. You are in the midst of a thoroughgoing transformation that affects mainly how you view your own depths, that gateway to the depths of important others. Your intuition is powerful now. As the month begins, you are likely feeling a sense of spiritual mission to more fully articulate and act upon your recent findings. The New Moon in your sign, taking place on June 3rd, gives you tons of energy for expressing yourself, and especially this deeper subject matter, more fully. Two weeks later, around the 17th, the relative intensity of your metamorphosis comes to a head. Rather than viewing this as a trial, or painting yourself as a victim, you might regard this time of transition as a marvelous gift, one that nudges you further down a road that you were already intent on taking.

This month is especially potent for all the mutable signs of the zodiac, but perhaps none more than you. All month long, a series of planetary transits through your home sign of Gemini will oppose Jupiter in Sagittarius in your seventh house of relationships while also creating a T-square with Neptune in Pisces in your tenth house of career, bringing an uncertain or spiritual quality to your dealings out in the world. Along with this, Mars in Cancer in your second house of income and expenditures will be moving through a long, slow opposition to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn in your eighth house of death and other people’s resources. This latter transit could affect partners and finances, also your own resources that you bring to the table.

The T-square bonanza begins with the New Moon in your home sign on June 3rd. After this, the Sun will make an opposition to Jupiter and square to Neptune between June 9th and 10th, followed by the Full Moon in Sagittarius in your seventh house on June 17th, and then Venus in Gemini will reignite the once more between June 22nd and 24th.

This entire sequence of planetary events points toward a time of major tension, likely philosophical or intellectual in nature, taking place between yourself and those you are closest with, or perhaps in the workplace. The possibility for a meeting of the minds is possible this month, and in fact it’s quite possible that exciting new partnerships or imaginative and intellectual work projects will emerge. At the same time, you may be particularly suggestible this month, or you may find that you are having to exercise a high level of critical thinking in the midst of an environment that is fast paced, creative, and running on enthusiasm or idealism rather than careful planning. It’s also possible that you will have to work to find some degree of creative compromise, or that your beliefs or spiritual ideals will be tested.

In the backdrop of these dynamics, your ruling planet, Mercury, will be moving into a conjunction with Mars in Cancer in your second house of income and expenditures, and then entering into a series of oppositions with Saturn and Pluto in your eighth house of death and other people’s money from June 13th to the 21st. So whatever creative dynamics are unfolding through this month’s T-squares are quite clearly taking place amid an incredibly dynamic series of transits that will likely relate to money and financial matters. The fact that the eighth house is emphasized is also worth noting. While the eighth house is concerned with other people’s money and resources, it is also related to debt, taxes, and financial burdens. The eighth house is also a little like the Death card in the Tarot. It often signifies deep periods of letting go, loss, and transformation, in addition to being related to financial matters. Thus, the changes happening right now will likely be felt more personally for you, given the presence of your ruling planet, Mercury, being right in the thick of things.

The good news is that with Jupiter and Neptune so powerfully configured all month, it’s likely that something fortunate comes out of the Mars oppositions above. It’s worth noting that the life-giving Sun will also move into Cancer in your second house of finances on June 21st, the day of the Summer Solstice, just in time for the final T-square to be made from fortunate Venus to abundant Jupiter and faithful Neptune. So, even if there are some financial challenges this month, you will probably pull through things pretty quickly or find a silver lining.

Finally, on June 26th and 27th, the Sun in Cancer in your second house of finances will also square Chiron in Aries in your eleventh house of friends, allies, and groups. You may find an unexpected ally during this transit, or perhaps you will find some healing or greater wisdom related to your time, money, energy, and resources. This could serve you as a welcome blessing considering the intensity of some of the previous transits this month!
